Hi, Guessing you are after ceramic coating? If so you could try https://www.ocdetailing.co.nz/ who have a good reputation on here. There are plenty of others, prices a highly dependent on the current state, size, and desired finish of the car. As such prices are not typically outlined online other than starting from figures. Best of luck and hopefully you will post up your experiences if you go through with it.

The audio commentary is a crack up.

I left AA after two claims that ended with one car being repaired 3 times and then being sent to a Euro panel shop for a proper fix, and the second where a pin dent from a door ended up with half the car being resprayed because the panel shop did such a hack job. The AA assessor was incredibly useless and as it turned out had signed off on payment to the panel shop before the job had even been done, so did everything he could to avoid getting the car correctly repaired elsewhere.

But you have a hoist!!

Buying something from TM that is described as could do with paint, when the reality is that the part is FUBAR'd.

I don't ever begrudge anyone an honest living, but attempting to gouge across the board on a number of sales is a bit sad to look at - even the rims they are selling are cheaper with rubber brand new than what they are trying to get for them. At $40k that car is probably great buying, but based on the activity of that trader I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. I would sooner spend a bit more and buy from another member if I was in the hunt for one.

I stand corrected, a quick google and opencorperates return later - they are not solely a used car stealer family, also have trade as electricians on the shore. So if ever you wanted to stereotype some stereotypes feel free - cause we all know that light switch was not $400. Although applying electrician math to the M3 you can see why it went from $40k to $60k

Pretty sure looking at the other listings this is the same crowd that were trying to palm off the stuffed M5 a month ago. I recognise the candy red McLaren aftermarket rims in another listing, so clearly using multiple TM accounts to dupe people. This is just a dodgy used car dealer being a dodgy used car dealer.

So who is going to low ball an offer for shtz and giggles?

Service history printout from main dealer

If anyone does manage to find a way through this I'm sure many of us will be very keen to follow the same path. I don't see why with the removal of ownership details that privacy comes into this, I'd be more than happy to pay a fee to cover the time. -
Should also add I got all the gear out to detail the interior of the M5 then jumped in my wife's car and had an aneurysm at the state of it. So to get to my happy place spent hours cleaning that instead, then did a half ass interior cleanup of the M5. FFS, how hard is it to keep it vaguely clean. Vented leather seats just love crud in all the holes, I discovered a kiwi shoe brush with the shop vac is amazing at moving almost everything without doing damage to interior trim. So that was a positive.

The M5 got its annual done at BMWorkshop Botany, great service. No dramas, no issues with the wagon, captured some mid stream oil for me to send off for analysis. Having an independent workshop that you can trust makes the ownership experience much less stressful.

https://youtu.be/Tc-DBS-htvE Steve Dinan initially talks about the S85, then goes on to talk about products they have developed. Like listening to an excited 'Merican Gordon Murray.

Had to visit Botany Town Centre today, found it hard to argue with the stereotypes come from somewhere line - new blacked out X7, illegally parked, which even with every driving aid short of a direct connection to the brain still managed to nearly back into me at some speed. FFS!!

Drunken neighbour (who everyone around here just loves) has builders in attempting to glue wood together with nails in the form of a deck - FFS sooooo over the hammering. My coping mechanism is banking this hate for the day I install a basketball and netball hoop / backboard - because building a deck from 7am for weeks on end is temporary, playing ball with my daughter will last a lifetime. So yeah, I can also make council approved noise and have a bunch of fun And when that fails, I can just idle my Subaru with the 3" exhaust cut out open - mmmm big cams.

50km on a new set of Conti's, drove over a pair of nail clippers someone had dropped.

That's a Ford Mustang, why's it on a BMW forum 😁

Pretty sure that is Alex aka fred_'s wagon.

Might be keen, can you please flick through the model number for the pump. Thanks.

Thought I recognized the house in his other listings. It's the spot that hosted the influencer party during lockdown. https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/300434808/covid19-police-issue-six-infringement-notices-to-north-shore-partygoers Probably a stand up member of society.

Thinking about a swap - convince me or otherwise...

I still see no downside other than the engine bay grime. -

It's a wagon, I'm not seeing the downside here.... Presents nicely in the pics, agree the hot air intake is possibly something to change - but the induction noise gives those motors some character. The 20's look nice, just make sure your insurance covers rims with a reasonable excess for the repair job - I'm paranoid about bending aftermarket rims having been through it enough to decide factory is just fine for me. Again - It's a wagon, so I'm pretty much sold on the idea - please detail the engine bay when you buy it . -
There seems to be a trend at the start of the various TT live feeds the audio / video stutters, it is getting better thankfully. Watching the onboard from Mc G's first day of practise give me goose bumps, that Blade is a weapon totally makes up for the odd annoying video glitch in the other streams. The coverage is modelled very similarly to V8 Supercars, which gets viewers into every aspect of the event. Money well spent.

@dirty doogleI know the feeling, it gets much better luckily.
