I am wrecking E32 735i and 740iL. Engine and gearbox from 735i is gone, this car is only good for panels / glass / electrical stuff. Everything is available on the 740 apart from the engine. Gearbox is in good condition (bought a replacement from melowpuf not long ago). Self levelling shocks appear to be in good condition, no leaks from them. All electronics etc are avaliable apart from engine loom and ECU. window switches, hvac unit works well, seat switches etc. Glass from the 740 is the thick double laminated glass / whatever it is. Will be scrapping both shells in next few weeks.

Like Allan said, its for emissions. If your getting rid of the standard DME, you will have to setup your aftermarket ECU to control the valve. You also have the potential to overpressure the fuel tank with boost if you get it wrong.

the plug that comes off by the MAF plug is for the charcoal canister valve.. BTW, you prob want to remove the charcoal canister and just let the fuel tank breathe freely.

I think these days you can use paypal without having an account. If your goods dont show up, you have 45 days to claim a refund and paypal refunds your money.

Im not familar with the E34 so im not aware of its location but its for venting the gas tank, its controlled via a valve by the DME. Goes from the gas tank through the charcoal canister, then to the intake manifold / throttle body. (thats it in your first digram) Yes thats the idle control valve.

charcoal canistor valve. nothing to worry about, can leave disconnected. dont understand what your trying to describe. got a picture? if its on the airbox it could be the thermostat for the throttle body heating system pretty sure its part of the charcoal canistor setup. block it off if not using the charcoal canistor.

Haha yeah.. Had a cheap $30 table from the warehouse that was a few years old and stuck it on trademe for $1 reserve and it sold for $62.

Im not familiar with the setup in an E34, is the booster on the drivers side or passenger side with the bar that goes under the dash like an E30?

M52 manual box is still going to be cheaper than a m60 manual box... $1k~ For a m60 auto box, and you will need the trans ECU and wiring loom to go with it (extra cost again), and then have to wire it in... M60 manual conversion kit $4k~ M52 manual box.. $600~?

M60 would be much more work and cost... You would need a gearbox for a start.

Pretty much.. Been in a few 1UZ cars and I wasn't really impressed power wise.

Maybe the cheap usb-serial adaptors are sh*t, but you can get much better ones. We use some at work for programming some old obscure equipment that use RS232 that don't play nice with the cheap adaptors. I use a ASUS K53U (full size laptop) for tuneing which uses a low power CPU and I get 6+ hours battery life out of it and have had no issues using one of these usb-serial adaptors with either my haltech or DTA ecu's. I cannot remember hte brand of the adaptor right now, but when I remember I will post it here. Anyway, what im saying is, you can get reliable usb to rs232 converters.

oil and oil / air filters will be done before sold. Hood lining is sagging. auto trans is a jatco and has the 1st to 2nd jerk for about 1km when its cold, after that its fine.
