You mean the TRM one? Plenty of people use it overseas with good results. Expensive for what you get though, and if you change anything you need to get them to re-tune it for you.

I think what he is saying is, its sh*t.From what I've gathered, they're alright, but comes down to the person installing it. For some reason megasquirt seems to attract idiots who cant wire anything that has more than two wires, and most problems people have with it comes down to they have done a shitty job wiring it in. Go with whatever your tuner is comfortable with installing / tuning. A megasquirt install is still going to cost $1k+ if you buy everything new, spend an extra thousand dollars and get something with a better build quality and connectors.

upgrade to the 2.5l engine is best bang for buck. You can pick them up for $700 - $1000

should turn pretty easy with a power bar and no plugs. you can turn one with a bit of effort even with plugs.

The donkey cock hose goes to back of intake manifold. The longer one goes to the intake boot. Yeah you can connect those two hoses together to bypass the heater core. I wouldnt use insulation tape to do it though.

meh. how long has this law been in effect? 2 years? in that time 1 car crushed, which has been stripped anyway. i dont think boy racing has decreased proportionally in that time. Also, if you were at the point of having your car crushed and got caught doing a skid / racing. Why would you stop for police? Almost nothing to lose, already going to lose license and car + fines etc, with a possibility of getting away. why stop? if you get caught even if after doing a runner its only a extra failing to stop charge.

Yep sounds like its from an m40 then. I dont think there are any cross members that will bolt straight on, you will have to modify that one or make another one. might be easyier to get the correct box.
