Steering wheel looks great. Clean and simple. Hope you gave it a good clean!!!
-
To be honest given the choice again, I'd powdercoat. Reason being: i) Cost of Plastidip ii) Preparation time (I cleaned took all wheels off and cleaned them back and front, spotless) ii) Time dipping All up I spent about 4 hours on it.

Compulsory audio clip?

I'd like to have a drive of an RS4. It seems like a car that would suit me, however, since I've had my engine rebuilt I think I'll be keeping the M3 for quite a while longer.
-
Have used it and like others have said, first coat very thin (DipYourCar on YouTube shows this). As in, almost a transparent mist. After that build up coat thickness, and make sure to apply evenly. Mine was a pain in the ass to get off because I applied it too thin in places.

Have you still got this? Yup... http://evolveautomotive.com/engine-ecu_656/csl-carbon-airbox_693/

Had this problem. I bought a door lock actuator from a forum sponsor but didn't fit it before selling the car. 'Arma' bought the car and actuator, not sure if he had progress with that, but same symptoms. The actuator was about $70 IIRC

Because we all turn a profit on cars...

Someone must want an M3 with everything already fixed up ! Damn well priced too.

Good to hear, they have a lot of support in the UK. I was considering a primary cat Delete + a tune. Would you think that an M5 owner who drove your car and then drove their own again would be compelled to buy the tune from the experience?

Any review out for the Evolve remap?

Spotted a Z1 in Newmarket today.

Nice buy, looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

God that makes my blood boil when I see sh*t like that. Hope you get it sorted

Looks much better. Agree with QUBE re: colour-matched trims
-
Yellow looks great

Agreed that the side-profile of the CSi is much more appealing.
-
Either none or CSi IMO. To me, the others look more like "add-ons" than a part of the car.

En-route home now. Currently at LAX. Went to Target and bought 125sq feet of bubble wrap for all my purchases whilst away Of course the spoiler received a liberal dose of this and is now sitting somewhere in the airport boxed up... Opened it to check for damage etc.. This is my first "real" carbon accessory. Wow, wasn't expecting it to be THAT light. You really can't beat OEM quality, and for $450US as opposed to the $750NZ I was quoted it's all good. (No extra charge for luggage or oversize/fragile) The weave is perfect, I'll go with the old cliché of "it's a work of art". An update with the car, parts are still a couple of days away. Christ, been almost 6 WEEKS! That's what you get for ex-Germany I guess. Once they arrive, 2-3 days at Taylor Automotive, and 2-3 days at Team McMillan (so I'm told).

Looking forward to seeing the car when I'm back. Photoshoot ?
