With E30s these days does mileage even matter, engines are pretty readily available and aren't hugely expensive, no?

Pretty sure I was about to buy this car a couple years back at 20-30,000kms. I think it sold for about $12-13k from memory.

If it's a factory M-sport car, go for your life. If it's not, put an M5 badge on at the same time.

Do once, do right. With an S62 it's a car you could keep for life and always be excited by!

Haha thanks. Caught me on the way to the gym. Your car was instantly recognisable, gorgeous. Lovely day for a drive

What inspired the theme? Looks good.

What a f*ck up. I would've expected more from them (if it's who I think it is) as I've used them before with good results. Starts with "H"? I would've used 3M tape -

+1 Nothing but appreciation for Andy and him doing this for so many rounds. -
Tidy! Congrats on the new start-up.

Orange lights are on the American cars she's taken the photos from online. Plastidip is alright, been there done that. Much prefer the genuine article from BMW. The window trims aren't as easy as one might think. To do it properly costs $x,000s from memory. You can mask off the rest of the windows and roof area and Plastidip it or vinyl wrap. I'd go Plastidip for ease of application but if you do, lay it on thick so it's not a total pain in the ass to take off.

Those BBS are definitely to my taste! (y)

Ah, so it's not just me in that boat. 550kms to go until run-in service on the rebuilt engine. 4k RPM limit is infuriating.

Just seen this. Awesome car. My Mum has one. Looks cool in Black. I think it's a great combination of power, economy, and convenience! Where did you end up settling in Auckland? Coming to any of the upcoming meets?

Your car is coming together really well, Jooles!

I'm glad you bought this car! Coming together so well.

Super clean. Will be interesting to see what the market thinks it's worth. Towbar for bike rack ... ? Can a 316i tow much else?

"Paint is mint" Holograms in photos.

Nice Alex, any plans to paint rear diffuser (and leave carbon round the tips?)

Congrats. An awesome car for sure and glad to have an LSB in Auckland that I may get the chance to see around!
