Got a picture of under the rear of the car, I'd like to see what you did with the exhaust.
-
Sigh... this again. How many years until they make this 4km/h tolerance all year round I wonder?
-
What an intriguing revelation..... Good discovery! Reminds me of a friend of mine who discovered someone had put small port exhaust manifold gaskets on with large primary headers, creating a restriction of the exhaust gases. It performed noticeably better with the correct gaskets in places. (On a Ford 302)

That is very nice. I like it.

This would be fantastic.

I don't like Apple. They are like Mercedes.
-
Wow, what did you get done to it?
-
The idea of this has been in my mind lately. Even an NA one would get up and go quite well (compared to 328/330), let alone a TT setup...

Those style 42s look fantastic on an E39... Personally I would stay OEM, but that is just me.

lol 318i Have fun. Looks good stock though, can't argue with that.

I concur. BBS all day, everyday.

I love watching these cars. So fantastic.

Are those Motorsport cannon mufflers?
-
I was thinking of doing this on my next E36. Apparently its best to do the rears too, did some reading around the other night.
-
I would probably stay dual. Usually the exhaust goes 3-1 and 3-1, I would run a dual section off either header pipe, I suppose 2" would be big enough, lead to an H balancing pipe then into twin high flow cats, another H pipe, perhaps some small resonators, then out the back to a dual in, dual out stainless muffler. Magnaflow do all those products, pretty nice stuff from my experience. I'd also stick to mandrel bends personally. It would sound quite nice if done correctly. I've never liked the sound of a single myself... .

LOL. Pretty much.

How does he expect to sell with an ad like this?

What a tool. -
Looks like a nice car mate. Are those BMW orginal tail lights or an aftermarket brand... I rather like the look. Heh, the first question, someone trying to be smart asking about Nikasil. It's never been an issue in NZ right?
-
Currently in the process of polishing it in the garage... Though... I really should be working on the headers.
-
I think its quite cheap still. I mean look how much we pay for a liter of milk, and that is made on our door step in NZ, dairy central. Not sucked out of the ground thousands of KM's away then refined, blah blah.

What gearbox does it take? Same as the 328i/M3 E36 isnt it?
