yea found the problem after posting haha but still dont have a clue whats causing the random gauge bug revs and speed and temp and oil drop then service lights come on all the normal park break oil battery etc and then its sweet like im switching the car off and then starting it again while driving??? cheers

most frustrating thing the passenger window closes but not enough and whistles now ...anyone know a fix?? also the drivers window was smashed so i put another in and it goes to far up now but at least it doesnt whistle haha and the central locking is retarded i lock the drivers door with the key and then it doesnt go all the way down and at the same time the passenger door locks and then unlocks????? so i have to turn the key then open the drivers door push the button down and go round to the passenger side and lock that one any info appreciated cheers damian

FOUND IT!!!! yes!!! just so you know it was the brake pads...theres a 3 prong fitting that clips into the plunger on the brakes and it did not have any clip on it so if you wernt braking it would rattle against the disc hope this helps you both out aswell:) cheers damian

not from the engine bay so it cant be vanos when i drive over bumps i can hear its coming from the back i think?? any ideas or someone had this issue on an e36 before?? cheers damian

duno whats going on but its happened 3 times, the gauges all drop to zero thenthe lights light up like youve just started the car...and then it resumes to reading the speed etc like nothing happened??? anyone had this before? and also theres a damn annoying rattle on the e36 sounds like its coming from the back ?when you brake you dont hear it but just going over a slightly bumpy road it sounds like those stone gaurds for the breaks but i checkec them and theyre secure any ideas??? cheers damian

sorry guys for the huge pix haha didnt realise and still dont know how to resize them the front is 11cm from the ground on a good day anybody have any info or have had a low compliance cert done before??? definitly need the normal indicators..the ones ot has now were the last owners choice haha and the wheels iam very proud of they were originally dipped in chrome and then the last owner sprayed them black then i spend 20 hours paint stripn and sanding then respray and finished them this morning:) cheers damian
