polished the lip resprayed the centers...now in for sale section looking good
-
reps are more expensive and if you're a purest bimmer driver ...considering a motorsport youd go with the original wheels
-
selling mine for 700 in the for sale section of this forum
-
sorry couldnt get the p;ic to come out good quality.. can email the picture but it should represent the wheel just fine..much better in person
-

quite is an understatement haha 14 inch set just went for 450 on trademe so yea the 15s are worth way more
-
heaps im selling mine too but privately to a bimmersport member he was first so he gets first dibs....most will snap them up in a heart beat dont be shy to price accordingly because whatever people say ...they are rare az [people dont want to part with them in general and in most cases they are the icing on the cake when you have a motorsport or just a decent looking e30..good luck if you decide to sell and seriously they worth more than 600 in good nik with centre caps
-
sounds like an awesome option but then again its nearly 1200 bux and i only need fronts...best price i found was 350 for front inserts and then add springs ontop around 300 = 650 all up cant go spending more coz i have to replace hanger bearing on prop shaft and two new rear tyres plus alignment which is out so mmm where can i just get the normal kyb or munroe for less than 350? one of you got sum second hand springs lying around ?
-
shocks are owned going to lower the e30 m325i at the same time but in an effort to keep the cost from climbing too fast ... who knows or is a shock supplier? looking for good monroe or kyb...heard (read) kyb is better need two fronts and after springs 50 - 60mm front and 40mm rear not fussed if the springs are second hand and not interested in crazy handling ones just ones i can put up with and are decent enough to use every day shocks on the other hand im looking for new unless they low mileage ones at a good price point me in the right direction? cheers
-
PM me what you have and how much you want can be just springs or both shocks and springs lowering springs im looking for are around 40mm to 60mm thanks and its for an 87 m325i e30 cheers
-
thanks for the help...know the cost of a rebuild? yea id definitly go woth h & r dont wnat to make the car just low to look good it has to have the functional aspect had jamex before and utter crap but thats my opinion, kings in a honda yes i had a honda they were very stiff but not too bad and my brother has b & g comfortable and they perform but heard great review about the h & r's so thatd be what id get but yikes why are they 500 bux a set hahah
-
greased the shaft on the shock and its all good now.. not experiencing any symptoms of worn out shocks so its all good news...even though its all good now im still looking for a new shock and spring setup maybe someone on here has a set lying around after changing to coilovers etc
-
where did you get them for that much mate?
-
jacked the car up a few weeks ago and had this creaking knocking sound coming from the struts checked all joints and wheel bearings etc something gave me the idea that the the strut mounts had had it so ive ordered them and today i jacked it up again got my brother to jack it up while i watched the strut and the strut shaft comes out of the strut housing intermittently not smoothly like it should???? sprayed a lil bit of wd 40 and no clunking etc....so...shock stuffed? could i just oil it somehow? new struts are expensive especially if you wana stay with the bilsteins the m325i came with if the struts turn out to be gone who here has a good second hand pair??? cheers for any help and thoughts
-
hahah yea i know just havnt been able to but now they are being redun will make a new topic for the refurbish so you can see what they looked like before and after so far 12hours of sanding and polish on the rim lips one wheel left to do then its prep before spray

-
they are like the ones in nthe first photo posted ive decided to keep them but i have another problem i think polishing the lip and face would look amazing but i want to get the original silver for the side of the spokes?? where do i get this silver? anyone? ive heard that wurth had a can of silver they sold 5 years ago that was the same any help appreciated
-
good input thanks mate... another idea ive been throwing around requires more effort but i think may be awesome polish lip and face of all the spokes but the sides of the spokes make them the standard silver think its the best looking option so far would really stand out nicely
-
got a sset of euroweaves without center caps still working on sourcing some these allready have a bare metal/aluminium lip and gold center but the gold is faded and i dont think its a good look on the e30 gloss black middle? gold middle? standard silver middle? car is e30 m325i in black full mtech kit not lowered...yet all those options would be with the polished lip cheers
-
apex you are a crack up mate hahaha believe it or not ive been to a tyre shop with a similar location hjahah they look very similar to those ones in the pic but the lip is polished aluminium (or was from factory- bit dull now needs sum autosol) and the middles are gold if what you are saying is true about the offset then they must have come off a 325i at this point i was just checking and getting some more clear info from the guys that know their stuff (read you) i gave the lip on one wheel 400 grit then 800 followed by 1200 and then 2000 wet sand paper followed by some autoslol and it came out amazing so opinions... gloss black middle? gold middle? standard silver middle? car is e30 m325i in black full mtech kit not lowered...yet all those options would be with the polished lip cheers
-
doubt it thanks for your input though
-
