  1. Did you see Fifth Gear run one into a small, late model Renault?
  2. No, dark green. Looked like oil dripping from somewhere onto the exhaust from the way it was swirling around, although it got worse when she put her foot down.
  3. An E39 520i smoking it's way along the NWestern this morning, BEZ something. Middle aged woman driving it, smoke getting heavier, if it's your mums, tell her to fix it!
  4. I'll have a look tonight, let you know.
  5. I have some, but no idea if they'll fit?
  6. Umm, should I mention I was on the wrong side of the road entering the Chancery car park through the exit lane in a red Golf?
  7. Fair enough, there are some domestic arguments not worth having. Saw you turning into Bacons Lane this morning too.
  8. Where in Wellington are you?
  9. I want a cheap as possible e30 steering wheel to experiment on. The standard one in any condition as long as it is still round and more or less complete. Auckland preferably to keep the cheapness to a maximum. Cheers.
  10. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=34163 The repco ones are a universal fit going into the factory mounting points as per my earlier post above. Up to you.
  11. That looks like the standard off the shelf one from Repco to be honest. Don't go to the Grey Lynn one, they're out of stock.
  12. Yeah. But the question was for agricultural comfort and power, not a temperamental beauty queen.
  13. Comfort and power (sort of) with reliability, an XR6(Turbo) or an '03-05 Camry V6 manual. I would imagine you'd need to find a way to tie down the Camry in the handling department though.
  14. I think the cost of servicing newer model cars has become outrageous, the R32 has to have the gearbox fluid etc changed every 4 years at a reputed cost of $800-1000, VW fluid only. I enquired about cam belt changes on an Alfa V6, every 5 years it must be done at a cost of $3-3.5k, with these sorts of prices, the cars become worth nothing second hand. And to the OP, I think the situation is totally outrageous and you should complain (politely) until you get satisfaction, it sounds like the biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard. "We'll fix your car under our warranty, but we may ruin it, which will be your problem" Pardon?
  15. Thanks to both, Brent, that's the piece I thought looked like the right bit, will try and find the drill.
  16. Where is the bolt hole in the parcel shelf for an E36, the one that secures the tether strap for a child seat? There looks to be a pull out of some sort on the underside of the parcel shelf, directly in line with the middle of the rear head rest, which would logically be it, is it?
  17. Damn that Integra is fast, sh*t to a blanket anyone?
  18. Car looks good and the no. plate is 1 number off our old car if I remember correctly, MM775?
  19. Aren't those Hartge wheels? Swap them out, someone on here will want them.
  20. My last attempt at loading photos failed dismally, I will try again though. Then again, if you've seen a E36 coupe in manual with blue paint and grey leather, you've seen it. Price? I took the advice here and paid what I was willing to pay.
  21. I have an opportunity to pick up a '96 328i as above. 170kms or so. Leather, sun roof, completely stock. Had $3.5k spent on making the paint perfect about 2 yrs ago, near new Falkens, new clutch, shocks. Drives perfect, only "fault" is a squeaking clutch pedal, no saggy headlining. Leather on steering wheel/gear knob worn and carpet under clutch ripped. Ex UK (96-98), NZ since, one owner from new. Any ideas?
  22. You're not going to get a 944 Turbo for under $5k. Certainly not one that will last more than 5 min. What's a Series 4 Rx7 go for these days? Ah, just checked, more than I thought. TC Baur 320i manual?
  23. Good for anyone wanting a bit of room, manual too. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-334687963.htm
  24. IF you paid $65k for that, I'd be surprised if there was any decent change from $100k. Turners sold a yellow 360 for $105k (ish) and they are $149k asking at a dealers. Why would you?
