Righto, a little progress. Have been crippled for a couple of weeks so slow going. Anyway pictures... Still a hell of a lot to do but its halfway in.

So when you removed the whateveritis, it left a gap in the driveline?? You did loosen the spline to take up the gap yes??

^^ Unlikely. Neither of ours did or does it. Maybe for hot climate imports?? Singapore etc... Does a 98 318 have electric memory seats??

As far as I know, they will fit any M5X engine and S50 but not the S54 as it has a 3 bolt fixing/port. As for the chassis???
