soooooooooo close to being finished just have a relining project to do, as i am doing the black carpet, black interior look, but i want grey seats how ever. but heres an update on the pictures, going to take some photos of my racing wed wallipers when i get to bleed the braking system etc.

not in the mood at the moment buying a new one, but will do at some stage this is for a manual 1986 325i pre-facelift e30 where the dizzy is located near the rocker cover above the fan any one got a spare rotor and dizzy in reasonable condition ? Cheers

replacing the rear subframe from one e30 to another, did an engine transplant, and the old drum brake rears were not going to suit, nor was the diff, so did a swap, due to me going by ear, i took the handbrake cable off at the disc instead of feeding it back from the handbrake. (only to find out when i was putting it back together that i could have fed the handbrake cable all the way back by disconnecting a little join near the diff) so putting every thing back together ran into a slight problem forgetting how to assemble a brake shoe. thanks for that info, on the upside i now know my brake shoes inside out, and how to re assemble one happily haha. never the less learnt a bit from this silly little ordeal. hey guys putting every thing back together on the e30 1986 325i e30 does NOT have drum brake rears with the brake shoes, they look identical, but does any one have a diagram on how it goes on ? e.g. theres both big lips and small lips on the shoes which one goes with the adjuster and which ones go near the cable ? i can fit the shoe on but the disc won fit back on, so obviously im not putting it together correctly help?

6 holes, and cant find a s stamped any where, which is wierd, because when i first got it i could happily light up both wheels if i really wanted to

hey guys got my diff out, looks pretty large case, so im wondering if its an lsd, how do i find out what sought of diff it is out of a 325i e30, just ive heard of some cases of e30's coming with lsds, id tag saz, 3,54 759, so first part is ratio, what is the last part ?

hey guys have every thing disconnected on the rear sub frame of my e30 (all bolts, and associated brake lines) and its litterally hanging, by god knows what, e.g. where you unbolt the 2 19mm nuts, 1 per side. is there any thing i should know that will stop it from dropping out ? or is it being a pain because maybe the angle ? and its catching on the thread ? any help would be good

hey guys selling as a whole some where round 700 for every thing might sell seperate make me an offer if you want any thing in particular, ill consider From a Manual 1987 E30 320 M20B20 engine, no smoke, runs well Complete with ECU, Wiring loom all attached, no cut wires Radiator Airflow meter etc ask away

ive had the same problem, but turned out to be water and crap in the fuel tank i had crap in my tank for ages, cause i remembered how it got in there, and it was sitting in there for 2 weeks before i had problems. could be that, but im thinking some thing to do with ignition, ask them what they detached and put back together

hey guys, going to get a new exhaust made up, with custom headers. if its done right there should be a hp increase, so any gurus on here i can talk to on here? need to calculate the measurements for extractors etc thinking about doing twin pipe straight through e.g. firing sequence is 1,5,3,6,2,4 so have extractors made up for cylinders 123, and 456 any thoughts ? i have friends in the exhaust industry, but i would prefer to get the exact measurements and other peoples opinions on it first e.g. with maximum width of pipe what sought of resonator, brand of muffler cheers any input?

and my guess is that it would be a waste of time and money manually installing crank angle sensors into the box, but welding the lip on the flywheel would be easy-ish, but still, waste of time and money ?

hey guys, do all m20b25 engines have crank angle sensors ? i have a box that i removed from a b20 engine, and some one wants to buy it for their b25 engine, bell housings are the same, whats the deal ? cheers guys, are you guys gunna post up a topic on how the anzac day cruize went ?

sounds like you guys have had some interesting experiences with springs. . . . . i think i might just take all the struts out, and take it to a work shop im aloud to use cheers for the heads up knowing me id do damage, been good at that today

if any one was jealous or envious of my cheap mint condition e30, never fear, with all good projects, some thing is bound to go wrong, and due to some ones steering errors, my diver side door has been seriously demented, (wont open, or close) other than that, engine went in alright. just thought id update some people on that

am i likely to run into any danger with springs flying at me when i have every thing unbolted ? how much compression are they under? or nothing to worry about? have heard stories so thought i would check

you go a bit loopy when you get an engine out with a crap selection of tools, and a sloping unstable drive way so i took some pics any way, going for the starsky and hutch feel, maybe even titanic, to look back on my progress one day

hey guys another question on my conversion am i going to have to change brake boosters ? changing a 320 to a 325 they look a bit different, e.g. the piping leading into them
