good to see all these 325's in here round 300 km im close, after my engine transplant i can start racking up those km's again and cant wait to join you guys haha

hey guys in the process of doing an engine transplant im converting what was a e30 320, m20b25 to a 325, m20b25 run into a little problem obviously im going to have to swap ecu's i have a process already in mind but i was wondering what others have done, if some ones converted b20, to b25 in e30's? save me the hassle, thinking about uncliping b25 ecu, and feeding the plug with the pins, back through the firewall some how and then feed it into the new e30? save me cutting wires and rewiring countless things ?

you could buy my getrag 240 sitting in the garage, save you all the fiddling round? just got it out yesterday was going to put it on trademe

hey guys just updating the progress, ive been carefully labelling all the wiring and disconnecting it dont want to cut any wiring, gunna do it as tidy as possible i have it narrowed down to 1 thing now that im going to need help with can some one that has done this please give me some instructions ? im converting a 320 to a 325, so the ignition plug is a little different, probably because of the crank angle sensors am i changing the ignition relay aswell? any help would be great, cheers

my m20b25 motor from a uk import e30 is going into a jap e30 just having a look at it now im assuming im definately going to have to cut some sought of wires and probably change fuse boxes over as the ignition relay looks a bit different, probably has some thing to do with crank angle sensors ? will the plug going into my current ecu for 320 fit the ecu that is currently in my 325? any help guys ?

hey guys whats the deal with engine loom ? im wondering am i going to have to cut it all where its zip tied against the wall and rewire it when i put my new engine in ? or should i be able to unclip every thing ? or is that just more hassle ? im good with wiring, ill just do any thing to avoid it hah lol

cool. how many degrees.C did you heat it up to ? what did you use for the cross hairs ? paper probably too flimsy ?

so with the high beam you do not paint any thing just put the cross hairs in ? and that provides the smoked look ?

jacob, starting on the m20b25 today, if ya wanna hear it, which i think you should cause woah. sounds grunty with the exhaust on it. give me a buzz when ever

have you got that non sunroof trim? not sure how much damage im going to do removing mine

just got the gear box out its a getrag 240 conversion parts will be out by the end of the week

any one in NZ that will do them for me ? i have engine work i have to focus on and dont really have time to muck some thing up hah

ok, will get hood linings off and start piecing it together as with the leaks probably best bet would be to get it open and have a look i suppose and no doubt ther will probably be rust in front of me thanks hotwire

hey guys, dont know how long it will we but its well under way now heres some stuff that will be available soon m20b20 engine, awsome runner, no smoke, tappets aren't that loud either surprisingly can supply radiator + piping, ecu if needed Manual gear box, and all other conversion parts if your going to need some thing let me know especially if its going to be the engine, as i wont be able to have it sitting round for long Cheers guys

hey guys how much should it be costing me for a manual conversion kit for a m20? are all m20 manual boxes designed to fit all m20 engine ? e.g. will a box of a m20b25 motor fit a m20b20 motor too ? and visa versa cheers
