haha why dont we all take averages fill up with x ammount have a container of some sought pull out nozzle and pour remaining gas in pipe into container i reakon wed be supprised how much it is after its stopped (hit the punched in number) i always seem to get atleast 100 mls come out all over my car ! if we get 5 measurements we can do an accurate calculation

i was reading a topic on petrol prices and noticed some thing at the gas station got me thinking i wonder if this has crossed any one elses mind you type in x amount of fuel and it finished bla bla bla it has stopped pumping but on most cases when you take the nozzle out, there always seem to be remaining gas draining from the pipe now i dont know the exact ammount of gas that comes out, all over the side of your car, and ground. point being . . . . i wonder on a global scale if it could be measured or calculated how much fuel is being wasted from this ? and, if you manage to get all of that excess gas in your car instead of pulling nozzle out with out using the lift pipe above head, shake nozzle crazy tactic, how many liters a month / year would you gain / save from loosing. interesting . . . well i think

um, when it stops raining ill start fiddling round with things, cause its pouring but how bout this, i was putting some relays in, matching up my 325 relays and putting them in the 320 (e30's) is it possible that putting a relay in, when its not supposed to be there, it could make the brake lights always go. im assuming theres probably not supposed to be a brake light relay. correct ? shouldnt really need a relay?

hey guys just doing the last touch up before my 325 motor goes in brake lights are always on ? the brake lines are empty and i havent bled them, can that cause the lights to be on ? or would it be a relay problem ? what about a wire earthing out? cheers

Hi, have a manual prefacelift 320i thats acting up it rev limits at 3500 rpm ? what the hell can cause that ? there doesnt seem to be a power problem it accelerates up to 3500 rpm quite rapidly but will bounce back off it what the . . . . any one else had this ?

no slipping what so ever no power loss in any of the foward gears it has to be some thing stupid because it goes forward in park, neutral, reverse, and every other gear

hey guys, im slowly re wiring a 320 e30 not much more to go, is there a pdf FSM for e30 or a good dash wiring site for e30's? but more so, is the 325i and 320i dash wiring any different in e30's? as im extracting some wiring from the 325i to replace the 320is wiring thanks
