along with the 1c diesel.... you ever tried to kill one of them? It aint easy - mine just wont die!!thats a very nice looking car, have you got any more pics like engine bay and interior etc?
-
im on about the same level as gus - i have only been done once for speeding - 132 in a 100... i deserved it, but it is the only speeding fine ive had in 7 years on the road... I have been caught doing other things - the speeding ticket didnt make me conciously slow down, i just suddenly decided one day that its lame... Id rather wait, go on the track and go sideways!! if you speed you'll only get there a few minutes quicker... so whats the point? thats exactly it - how is it that the Autobahns in germany and the like can have such high speeds - because the roads are up to standard and they make it harder for people to get a license to begin with! over here you just rock in, pay a few dollars, answer a few questions, do a little drive (about 20 mins is NOT enough establish how good a driver is) and drive on out with a license to kill...
-
haha can i get some of what your smoking?Ahhh, its a public holiday down here in hawkes bay (HB show day) and we couldnt ask for better weather! we're about to bugger off mountain biking... ill be back later with a couple of broken bones no doubt!
-
yeah, you'll definitly be slowing down - going from whatever speed your doing, to a full stop... with a set of red and blues flashung behind you! I think that they are going to be even harder on the average motorist now, like have more cops driving and trying to catch speeders... My understanding is, they made a lot of money from just laying up in wait...
-
on Honda integras, nissan skylines, cefiros an laurels, holden rodeos, commodores, they are quite hard.... therefore I conclude they are all hard... but having said that, its cheaper, easier and better to replace them than repair them... just have a session before, during and after - it helps with easing the frustrations of finding all the bolts...
-
we could only wish mate... i dont think the government would ban them - they make too much money out of them!
-
they still have to cut off the damaged panel (the rear panel youve got damaged is not a bolt off item) and weld on the new panel. They do it (cut and paste) along the seams and all that, and as I said, if done properly, its sweet, but if its a dodgey job you will get a few years before it starts to show thru...

Hey i had talipes (club feet) and no, its not coz of in-fukn-breeding, its from my dads side- he's black.Ive gotta say i dont mind some audis- a mates mum drives an RS6 wagon an sh*t does it make a good noise! its one of those things that happen in vegas... trust me, im pulling no tit here... Ill move before it happens to me! I still wont be buying an audi that looks like pumbe, even if it does sing Acoomabatata!!! (god knows how to spell it, but you know what i mean - its our problem fre.... philosphy... Acoomabatata!!!)

congratulations g-unit - whens the wedding? are you going to have a big one and sh*t? big stag-do? AHHHH stag dos are the sh*t! Strippers and un-ruly last night of freedom stuff... Well done man, hope you are happy as larry man... )havnt stopped the birthday drinks yet... maybe i should?)
-
damn, thats harsh! can you still open the door on that side? is the mag damaged? If it was hit, it will probably be buckled and in need of replacement. (im pretty sure you cant get them properly true again, my mate has a momo GT2 that he buckled when he lost it in his integra at some stupidly high speed in the wet... It makes a mint foot seat in the session room, but other than that its of no use!) id say that your car will be recieving quite a severe corner cut, but as for the respray, dont count on the insurance company paying for that - they just get the panels that get repaired resprayed - can look really odd new paint on half the car and slightly older faded paint on the rest. Maybe you could approach your assessor and ask him to get the whole car resprayed, with you paying the extra. Corner cuts are quite nasty, after a bit of time they start to show through rather obviously when the repair isnt done properly - my diesel wagon has had a new right rear end at some stage - its cracked a bit and surface rusted in places. Unfortunatly, my BMW has had a whole ass end before it was imported - didnt know about it when I bought it - found out once i stacked it - theres a lot of bog in the back left... but my panel beater mate said that its been repaired well...
-
nah man, in vegas they got club foot, hare lip and webbed toes - they prefer the big old ford trucks and they get around waving pitchforks and collecting the roadkill for tea!!! As everyone else has said, im not a huge fan of the audis - they just dont appeal!
-
Hey, thanks guys - Im starting the alcahol abuse tonight or tomorrow morning for the burnout competition - Itll be an all weekend thing... Evan, hmm a green plant? nice - come to the burnouts 2moro man, find the big drunk guy stumbling around! Grant, my bimmer aint doing much at the moment - went swimming with the keys in my pocket so i cant even dis-arm the alarm at the moment... However I have the guard, mirrors will be here soon, have organised angel eyes and will hopefully be getting bodykit soon... All the mechanicals are done (wheel bearing, rackends both ball joints etc) shouldnt be long! Carl, Ill be down that way sometime soon - Give the mighty old diesel a run! DanneVegas aint far from welly! Cheers guys, If im still replying after the weekend, Ive made it thru another one!!! oh, and there will be plenty of.... :pimp:  :mosh: :drugs:

5 speed auto... As *RJ* said - I never thought Id own a slush box... but the BMW auto is a totally differnt kind of auto to drive... so cruisy etc...
-
which is exactly why its illegal... I dont mind a show car thats all chrome, but to actually drive it on the road? Bugger that, because you wouldnt just be blinding others - what happens when the sun reflects off your bonnet or somthing and blinds you....
-
bro, my parents 1989 wing mirrors fold in electronically... But then having said that, an ass dragging, bog standard, hub-cap sporting, diesel doesnt quite compare to the style and comfort etc of a BMW... I dont mind not having to fold my mirrors in manually - its not hard to, and unlike my wagon, the mirrors will click into place at the extended position so its no big deal...Arent M3 mirrors a hell of a lot stubbier than the factory ones? Not too sure, but they look that way!
-
Come on *sic, your giving the wrong info here son, GET A DIESEL YO!!!!! we had to do the same to the Cefiro and the Laurel before paint jobs could be done... We just grabbed a hearty razor blade... scratched the paint underneath a bit, but that was cool - we were doing paint work anyway.... so my vote goes to the heat gun or a chick with longer nails... then a cut and polish to hide where its been - the paint looks a bit brighter where the pinstripe was - hasnt been exposed to the sun, therefore hasnt faded... From experiece, cars look pretty odd with faded paint and a strip of paint thats bright and fresh!
-
I somehow dont think that it could be used on the road - it would blind other drivers and cause major accidents. A mate of mine got fined for having mirror tints on his GT starlet (back in the day!) and when he asked why he couldnt have them, he was told that reflective surfaces on a car arent legal because they can reflect light into other drivers' eyes etc... So if mirror tints could have that effect, imagine what a chrome car could do!!!
-
yeah that would be about right - apart from a roll cage and a drivers seat there is no interior or anything.... and as for E36s - they understeer hard when you got crap tyres on the front! The V8s that I love to watch would have to be the Brutes... those utes are the sh*t - they get it sideays and they ram each other if they get off the right line etc - I love seeing them coming up to a corner side by side and having a pushing battle to try and get back on the right line!!!
-
yeah, Im sure a lot of that also applies to E36s.... Just buy a mechanical warranty with the car and she'll be all gravy....
-
you should have just reminded him that it was Nissan who saved Holden by building the RB series engines for them.... (and not the other way round...) So in effect they are Holdens (VLs) powered by Nissan... :banghead: Anyway, I dont agree that the V8 supercars are gay, I just dont think that they are my cup of tea... Televise the drifting, now theres a sport! Last week the dodgiest looking cefiro there was primer grey with a black dust coat... Look under the bonnet and HELLO!!! R32 RB26DETT sitting in there... DAMN!! Anyway, Im getting off topic, I wont be watching it from start to finish - i just get bored watching cars going round the track doing the same thing... IMHO after about lap 20 its all the same... its like watching test cricket when they play defensively (you know - deflect the ball etc) or golf on TV - Ive seen more excitement at a retirement home... I might have a look at some stage during the day, if time allows it.
-
they actually look like 17s to me - they are TINY!!!! and if hes got 19x11s to go on? I dont know.Seriously phat, if you like a lot of chrome, however, Im getting tired of chrome, I say spray the hole thing matt black and it will be phat!!! (not that it aint already, widebody E46 M3, I couldnt say no!!!)
-
good man, how much are you selling nos for? and what pills have you got?Nos is the best legal high ive had.... Love the stuff a.
-
im sure they would be - most are. If not, its cheap enough to buy a new one ($50 is a cheap insurance when it comes to a car burning - they burn bloody fast!)
-
it looks like a potential bong... :mosh: Love the names given to things like that. As for wheel bearings, Ive just done one in my 325, It cost the warranty company $400 for brand new genuine BMW bearing thru my mechanic (sourced bearing from the $tealer) If we're gunna have a cyber wank over what we got, I got a diesel wagon!!! (yeah, that sums it up: )
