  2. what were you disappointed with? my advice would be to buy a nice one...makes buying cars much easier!
  3. Welcome, you sound good so far. Keep it up! As for oil change, get a filter from Jerry Claytons Silverfield, they arent much more than repco and at least you know the quality is good. any decent oil is fine...magnatec is pretty popular due to the price...I like Pennzoil's too, but really as long as it is changed regularly it probably doesnt matter! Enjoy the site

  7. ^^ he makes a good point what spring shock setup you running? using sway bars as a band aid wont cure defecincies in the base setup
  8. its not that black and white...they sound like they dont know sh*t using assumption, the coil overs would use shocks for the 51mm shock body, not the 45mm that yours is likely to have. the 318iS had the larger shock body too
  9. ST from Turnermotorsport are good, good Customer service Ireland Engineering do some H&R do some, try the local forum sponsor take it easy dude, dont crash the beast!
  10. I am not trying to be horrible, if someone has genuine desire to learn I am more than happy to help someone with no knowledge at all....its all about attitude

  12. it's called school. you go there, learn how to spell, then you are able to write on forums, people can understand what the f**k you are saying and direct you to where you can learn, and where you go to learn even more, possible read a book or two (refer back to school mentioned above). then maybe you can give them the slightest indication as to what sort of car you have (there are 4 or 5 different 323 models, all with different engines) and people might be inclined to help you. make people want to help you! don't insult their intelligence and typing effort by typing like a 10 year old gangsta wannabe that everyone on this site knows is talking sh*t and wont go through with actually turboing a bmw engine. go to e30tech.com, just sit there and read and learn...buy corky bell's maximum boost and read that to understand the basics of strapping a turbo on a non turbo engine. or be like everyone else and sell it and buy a jap turbo, or pay someone $$$ to do it for you.

prettu sure ^^ is right...fugly and heavy, but hey, each to their own man
  17. I seriously love that car well that right there mister shure is a fine example of an automobile...hic
  18. spend the money on a manual swap, you will be much better rewarded. the inlet manifold is different, both have the 2.5 capacity. the 2.3 is a nicer drive due to the torque though..manual would be sweet
  19. rock on dude. listen to Will. I love that guy.
  20. interesting...however i would say they are very different engines anyway (with gearing playing a huge factor) the turbo does 11l/100k if i remember rightly, on the open road. which is pretty good for that amount of power. weight makes a huge diff too to fuel economy...i think small/light small cap turbo cars are the way of the future for fuel economy...how cool would a 1000kg car with 180hp 1.3 turbo be?? and i seriously love the z06....the new zr1 is insane as well +: bigger cap engines tend to have more torque...which is good for fuel economy being able to pull lower revs.
