E28 lowed, and cert.

But sits on 50mm springs at the moments until cert plate arrives, then will drop it back down to certified height which is another 60mm rear 70 front. Should be here late January.

Had to butcher the lower part of the M-sport rear body kit to get the towbar to fit on properly. The bar was supposed to fit on with a sport kit bit needed quite a bit to be cut out to get it on, was also supposed to fit a wagon but needed some major mods to get it on.

Removed the epically complicated heated window squirter/headlight washer system that leaked like a sieve and had wires/tubes/T-connectors up the wazzooo. KISS was not the motto for this system on an E30, WTF were they thinking!

Two wires, 1 tube, no leaks FTW.

Picked X5 up from BM Workshop. Had coolant overflow hose replaced after dad snapped it.

So all is well again.

Got bored on Tuesday & Wednesday, so I took one wheel off at a time, and scrubbed the insides of all 4 wheel arches/bays thoroughly. They were all looking black (from the filth), but after a wash they were Blue again - factory colour (huge build up of roadfilth, dirt, rubber from skids, grease, alsorts of crap etc). Then once all 4 were nice and clean I painted the front arches/bays Gloss Black. May paint the rear Gloss Black too, but passenger rear arch needs another quick scrub cos some rubber wouldnt come off... :):P

found some ///M badges on trademe but thawt they wernt worth around $80 for the pair.

so i decided to try make them myself lol black grey and white. didnt come out too bad for a 1hour jobbie.

the one on the front came out worse than the one i taped on the boot. im unsure where to put it as it looks abit too much infront of the 535i badge and i dont want to make it say M5.

any ideas people?

And a shot for the camber whores, gotta love 25mm spaced 10" alpina's lol
