What'd you do to your BMW today?

Recommended Posts

@Nathan, I just cleaned the ICV, and the throttle body. Didn't know how to clean the TPS, so I just disconnected it to see if it made a difference. The car seems to have less hesitation now, but we will see how it works on cold start up.

Recently replaced complete subframe as you can see in the photos it was well past due.

Also repaired the rear indicator lense by using another damaged tail light.

Re-aligned my drivers side door.

I had to drill out the screws because they were impossible to remove.

I made it a fraction higher than the rear door incase it drops due to use.

Good job.

Saggy doors are something many take for granted, but by god are they annoying, I experienced problems on a previous car of mine, managed to come up with a fix in the end though. (Rebuilt hinge)

Repaired my front bumper after my steering broke and mounted a gutter. Got towed into work at 9 last night.

(The E34 with a good old steering box).

Nope, got a gold 320i off Stephen (skidz) down in Wellington. Its quite tidy really, but all the bits that arent tidy are bits that i got told to throw away from my racecar

Parents can be annoying haha.

Cleaned the sticky sh*t left behind from the tape over my sunroof. Still more to do. Yesterday got the stereo working, and removed the tape, and armorall cleaned the interior.

Still to do:

New stereo?

Shampoo seats + carpets

Armorall protectant everywhere

Clean engine bay + door jams etc

I took a bumper sticker off my windscreen yesterday. Wax and grease remover works a treat getting that shitty adhesive residue off...

This stuff is worse than anything ive dealt with before. Been using kero and its taking a while, might try the wax and grease remover though.

Yea give it a shot. I was surprised how easily it came off....maybe heating it up first with a hair dryer will help too.
