What'd you do to your BMW today?

Recommended Posts

Oh what day did you pop in?

I may have been behind the counter ;)

Umm would have been Friday 11th March I think... You guys dont look too busy in there, and your spray cans are easy to get out of the locked cabinet also....

Oil change!

And noticed my car has slow leaks of:

-Coolant

-Power steering fluid

-Oil.

Might have to sort those out sometime...

I got a parking ticket about 4 days ago.

I dont want to spark up a debate, but I'm pretty sure a parking warden cant issue a parking ticket because of german plates, its about as stupid as them issuing a ticket for your car being too low....

Fined or warned?

14 days compliance, if I don't show up at a Police station to show they've been changed back in time.

$200 Fine

20 demerit points

Yeah, I'm going in today since I've swapped back and don't want the above.

Shoe polished the black trim on my car.

Looks sweeettt

How does it come out?

I have tried silicon gel and various rubber/plastic shine products but I always get a darker strip in the centre and light parts on the top of the trim. I assume from sun fade.

Does the shoe polish cover that up?

Try PlastX and a machine buffer. or even a drill with little buff attachment.

Yep, it does. Just get some of the Kiwi stuff that comes in a circular tin, rub it n to the plastic then buff it off. If you don't buff it off it can run when your car is in the rain next.

Looks FAR better if you ask me.

I may have to give it a go when I get my bumper clipped back on properly.

Thanks for the tip!

They can, anything to do with inproper liciencing and display of a motor vehicle they have power over. When I had the 330 its front number'plate' sticker got me quite a few :(

Its classed as not displaying correct registration plates.
