FS: Custom German/Europlates ORDERS NOW CLOSED - Last Order Before Chr

Recommended Posts

I print stickers. A couple of options.

1: Digital print - Basically a solvent inkjet printer. perfect quality for photographic reproduction, the detail isn't so great for spot colour though. Passable and reasonably cheap depending on substrate used. Longevity not amazing either under the NZ sun.

2: Screenprint - Perfect spot colour reproduction, longevity increased with ink film thickness. Expensive for small quantities.

I was real happy with my plate when it arrived. Nice quality screenprint transfer for the German coat of arms. A couple of small nicks/scratches but nothing upsetting. The weight of the Ali used is a little less than our chunky plates but they conform to and around the curved bumpers nicely. It's a good product.

Hi Andy, Would be keen for a set next time you do this. I got a blue NZ flag with fern set for my 323i coupe a few years ago and have never had any hassle with cops - mind you, here in Christchurch we don't seem to get the level the Jaffa's seem to attract! I have another toy now so need a set of Euro style plates for it. Lets know, huh? Thanks.

That should be it, hes got the numbers now, so probably he will give us a 1 week heads up and we put the money in his bank and then the plates and frames will come at our doon within a few more weeks. I want to organize something with someone who posted in a few pages earlier and see if we can print some m3 style stickers to replace the NZ Flag.

Wait a sec...you mean they don't hold up? Do they start to fall apart or discolour/fade out from nz weathering or something like after having them on my car for a few months? that would suck so much..

My MYSCHF plates are worn as someone smashed into the back of one..

But yes, they do tend to fade/stone chips etc.

:(

Same wear as expected from the NZLT issued ones or...makes me want to invest in........better ones... is it just the stickers that burn/fade out or is the problem related to the plates itself?

Oh ok :)

They're good plates. Quality is fine. The Ali is just thinner than the over-engineered NZ plates. Easily worth the asking price+

You won't be disappointed.

Hi Andy,

Would like to order a set, to read " 73 STAG "

Blue background LHS is the Southern Cross (white & red stars) above " NZ "

Blue background RHS is a white fern.

Also, a set of PLAIN numberplate surrounds.

If possiblew, a half space between the "73" and the "STAG" would be great.

Thanks a lot,

Regards,

Chris
