I am wondering just how many positive votes or likes we get each day. I have tried posting "likes" on a few things and each time I get told I have used up my quota for the day. On that basis my quota must be zero. Is it like a bus schnapper ticket where you buy a top up. I know fish quotas have been reduced recently and maybe my quota has been sold or stolen.

Why? PS Your notifications above show has liked posts... You can count them! Also, if you get Tapatalk on your phone it will show who and how many likes your posts have but still not sure why that matters?

So it would seem there is a hole in the market for the truly brand conscious when it comes to shoes. Never fear, Rebel Sport has come and saved the day. Not content with selling Ferrari branded shoes, it now seems that the market demands shoes labled "BMW Motorsport" too! All yours for a very reasonable $140 ish, sorry ladies you miss out on this one. Maybe they'll do you a Hello Kitty shoe if you ask nicely.

Those bloody New Zealanders! Shakes fist at clouds. However, sheer weight of numbers suggest that Aventadors are, generally speaking, not owned by yoofs. To suggest that said car was owned by said yoofs' parents isn't such a stretch. Generalisations are often based on an element of troof.

Hmmm - so you're telling us, dreams do come true.... Will keep on dreamiing then OT: Maybe Conrad can chime in, What is the 2nd radiator 'thing' off to the left of the main radiator? Guessing it's a big-ass Water->oil Cooler?? Just never seen one done like that.

Always makes me a bit sus when someone sells a car stating "no issues, but comes with a spare auto trans if wanted". Indeed its pretty up there in price, but that interior is pretty sweet.

We'll we're on again. I have a date with the owner tomorrow morning when I get off my kite in Christchurch at 8:30am There's a 15km drive back to their place apparently so if the car isn't doing what it's supposed to I guess I can just jump out at speed and spend the 3k on plastic surgery. There's a few cars for sale I'd like to look at in Christchurch if this sale falls through so not all will be lost hopefully. I just don't know why the vendor had to go through this process, it was really UN-necessary. I'll probably end up coming back with a M50d X5 and spend a few weeks on the couch after the wife sees it coming down the driveway tomorrow night. I guess we all secretly hate trademe, especially if you sell on there often. But it has it's good points & has a hell of a lot to answer for especially when you look through my garage! I've lost count of the times where I get asked "WTF do you need that for??"

I disagree with you completely TJ. Ever heard the expression `drive it like you stole it`. And the concern for his passenger is the giveaway. He`s thinking when he goes back to look at the car `My Saudi Arabian dad is going to cut my hands off ( or worse) for this. And I just lost 100 quid as well...should have gone to Polytech this morning...`

Funny how none of the reports I've seen make any mention of the Mazda pulling out on the Lambo. It's all been about the potential top speed of the supercar. "The moment a £300k Lamborghini Aventador crashed and became airborne, the 217mph supercar became airborne as flew round a bend, clipping a Mazda" - which had pulled out in front of the oncoming car. That said, the Lambo does appear to have been moving far too fast - Knightsbridge has a pretty much blanket 30mph (maximum, as many parts are 20mph) speed limit; that bit is 30mph. Show off time gone wrong, no doubt, although other reports suggest the driver had been tearing around the area for some time.

Exactly. And she had just slipped his roll of pound notes into her handbag, and said` Ok honey...you`re on..` which is why the car suddenly became airborne...

So the concerned bystander runs to the RH side of the car, and helps out the blonde. Then looks back inside and thinks LHD?? Then the gomer in the baseball cap ( reversed of course...) gets out and seems more concerned about the car than the blonde, who seems in the mood to bugger off straight away. I`d say Gomer was taking dad`s car for a spin....?

Sorry for the delay guys, I had to be somewhere yesterday and spent most of the day on the road in a uncomfortable nightmare car(Subaru) or on foot walking around my father's friends work sector. On my way back home they closed the motorway to my place so had to drive around quite a bit. I fell really sick and caught a feaver when I reached home due to no food intake. So anyway, the scanner tool from M3AN arrived yesterday, I managed to open it up and have a peek last night but went out this morning and tried it on my car. Really liked the scanner, strangely I didn't know something useful as this actually existed for customers unless you had some big garage. So anyway, it took me less than 10 mins to figure it out and get the codes and it was just as I suspected, (from what I could gather from reading earlier about this issue and then my millimeter tests). Its the The Crank and Cam Shaft Sensors, I wrote down the codes somewhere but lost the paper, but I pretty much remember them off the top of my head 1. Cam Position Sensor 2. Crank Shaft Senso 3. O2 Sensor 4. Cyl 1 - 3. 5. Fuel Pump Relay Now I have a pretty sure feeling that the O2 sensor and issue in Cyl 1-3 is due to the Cam Position / Crank Shaft Sensors. And the fuel Pump Relay was an issue that the previous owner had addressed since I saw marked different coloured relays in place with sharpie marks. anyway so now the repair process begins, I will be keeping this scanner for a few weeks so when its all done I will drive the car around and then scan it again before I return it back.

Im surprised you got a result out of the TradeMe staff. I have endless battles with them, and I'm spending at least 1k a month with them. they know how to charge, i guess thats no competition for you. But i shouldnt complain, im not game to try Wheedle or whatever the f**k, seriously who uses anything other than TradeMe.

If ya cant get your money back for the flight just pop over there, take the car for a quick test drive, find a boat ramp and plough it into the ocean, then offer him fifty bucks for it - final offer.
