They have more room in general especially rear leg room so more comfortable long journeys, longer wheelbase helps with this and ride quality. You can carry some pretty long objects in an E38 iL's too. Sure they don't handle as good as 3 and 5 series but they actually are surprising decent, they just a heavier 5 series at the end of the day. I took mine to the track and had certainly more fun in it, probably more than i would have had with a 318i auto or similar

i dont really get into sharing my women, but hey whatever pulls your rip cord eh. My name here has been Ethrty (E30) Andy for almost my whole stay here. ETHRTY is the number plate on one of my E30s. I could say all sorts of things about E36s but i better not make anyone have to admit what they already know lol.

Or 3k on a $60 water and oil pit. Sorry couldnt resist. This sort of sits in the same basket as when companys like porsche charge 40k extra for a few upgrades as a limited model. You could easily do the same power gain for half that money but its never going to be a gt3rs only a gt3. Different things matter for different people

I think my wife would throw me in the loony bin if I spent 50k on a 15-20k car.

Is that an accurate calculation or using the OBC because it's lower than the factory spec best for an E39 M5 which was 9.9L/100 highway, 13.9L/100 mixed use and 21.1L/100 city. If it's OBC, I'd say it's not calculating accurately and if it's your own calculation you are definitely not driving it hard enough!

The vendor has spent an amazing amount of money on his car. That is to be respected. But then he decides to sell it, and that`s when `market forces` take over. I was in the car business years ago at a big franchise dealership, and it was always a sad moment when you had to price a trade in. Most people get a big shock. Do your house up instead.

Geoff, your quota has been limited to stop you scaring the (few) woman from this site. I'm kidding. And I'm morbidly hungover. In fact I'm typing this to pretend like I'm sending an email so I don't have to help this inbred couple who have just walked into the shop. Bla bla bla. And they're gone. Cool.
