3 pointsWell after a bit of a run around with the insurance company, finally got my car back! Not completely finished as parking sensors need doing but I needed the car back as having sold the white one didn't have a spare car just sitting, and insurance are paying for fixing that when I get it done. Anyways! Got my rear bumper and spoiler fixed, AND my front bumper and skirt! (Which was shocking as hell anyway) It looks fantastic, love the work done, looks like a new car! And all old damage that was apparent is fixed up with the claim so I sort of killed two birds with one stone.. And then of course a quick before shot

3 pointsTime for a proper update: Work done: Replaced MAFs Replaced O2 sensors New plugs Replaced exhaust (Magnaflow cans and tips, decat was done by PO) Solved misfire on 3 cylinders by replacing offending ignition leads And lots of other little jobs, cosmetic, etc Work to do: Remove and refurb valve covers and exhaust manifold Reassemble and replace gaskets, etc Install refurbished throttle bodies Replace coolant and air temp sensors Install Wokke chipset (2 x DME, 1 x EML) with a pre and post dyno run Flush coolant and replace expansion tank Work to be done professionally: Replace Pitman arm Replace belt tensioners and idlers Install LSD Rear brake lines (will probably do the whole lot with ss lines) Replace a/c compressor Drove the car to the Mount with Martin (breakmywindow) the other day and it held up very well. So smooth. Did around 12.5L/100 on the journey which isn't too bad but a little higher than it should be I think. Will be looking at AFR when it's on the dyno but hoping the new coolant and air temp sensors will solve any over fuelling issues. The big repair is the Pitman arm which should solve the loose steering issues - my mechanic has thoroughly checked the rest of the suspension and it looks good (in fact the steering link rod was almost new along with some of the other front axle parts). The big upgrade will be the 3.64 LSD and Wokke chips. Current diff is 3.15 open, so the 3.64 should make a big difference - perfect for the 4 speed auto and the consensus on the Wokke chips is that the gains will be 30bhp+ with much improved throttle response from the EML chip. Pitman arm has arrived... Just waiting on the belt tensioners and pulleys now and good to go. So, that little lot at the mechanic is going to chew up a fair chunk of cash so I expect a few cosmetic jobs (headlining, csi kit, wing mirrors, sun roof rust) might have to wait for a bit. Would love to get some of them done by the 25th anniversary meet in November but the bank/wife might disagree.

3 pointsDunno about that specifically, but make it a bookable offence to drive in the outside lane at 90 when there's nothing in the left lane. Enforce those 'Keep left unless passing' instructions.

1 pointObviously, if you sell them you'll have to abandon your post on the residents' association and neighbourhood watch.

1 pointThanks for the feedback everyone. Some lucky punter will be getting an awesome piece of kit. Probably good to note. This sale does not come with any poodles or soiled beige pants.

1 pointMy vanos seals finally arrived yesterday afternoon. When I got home from work I got into it, it took me longer then I thought it would, removing the old seals took more effort then I expected, the top one was no issue, it was the one underneath that kept giving me grief. But eventually I got those removed, cleaned up everything (that took a while, the vanos unit had all sorts of nasty sludge etc on it). Installing the new seals wasn't hard at all. By 11pm the car was all put back together, but annoyingly I cracked a piece of the radiator shroud, although its only cosmetic its still annoying. I just need check over it all and its ready to run finally. The new valve cover seemed to fit nicely compared to the old worn out warped one, so that's a good sign.

1 pointOkay, so I finally got my first print monday this week, found some areas that needed modification and pretty much redid the whole model because of .8mm clearances etc etc. Now I have had my updated model printed and have just installed it in my car with the dedicated USB charger hidden underneath. PICS!! Don't ask about the colour, thats the best choice of what they had left! I will be able to print it any standard colour, e.g. black This dock is designed for an iPhone 5 & 5s, it may work with the 5c but I haven't been able to test it. As you can see, the standard Apple lightning connector is physically designed to work with this dock, so just reuse the one your phone came with! Let me know what you guys think / if you'd like a different model phone printed. (I will be updating this for the 6 & 6+ if you are going to update) Cheers, Dejh0n

1 pointI've unfortunately got addicited to power. So I couldnt live without the v8 these days. I love the fact you can just lumber around too with no issues or not having to think twice about weather you have enough to pass etc. Economy is ok, its not a deseil though. Next car is gonna be a 335i touring. Turbos should replace the shortfall the non M i6 has in power

1 pointMotorsport 540i with servotronic steering (same as the M5 and significantly better than the standard recirculating ball steering). If you get a 530i you'll start writing posts about how it's better than the V8 all the while secretly coveting all of the V8s that power past you in the outside lane and kicking yourself for not getting one first time round. I know this, because I've been there. Plus... the sound. Then buy a V12.

1 pointMy Dad had a 1961 Ferrari GT California with bugger all k's on it in his collection, I took a day off school and drove it into town, left it with Valet parking. When I came back it had 100's of K's on it. I had to jack the back up and run it in reverse. !! This did not turn out well ...... ........ oH no, wait, that was my mate Ferris Bueller !

1 pointThat's the problem... You won't notice in beige pants. Rogue poodle? I thought every house in Remmers came with a dalmatian and poodle as part of the sale agreement?! PS Enough hijacking... GLWS.
