SIR E30, I just purchased a m60 front gearbox casing (23111222773) from Coombes Johnston in Hamilton (ask for Fabian in parts) for $1020 inc, to put on my m3 box, to go on my m62b44 running m60b40 ancillaries (front crank trigger). All going in my e30 drift car. Should work a treat. check out TTV flywheels, grab a m60 to s50 flywheel in chrome moly for $700 +gst freighted, and then you just need a upgraded M3 clutch kit (easy to find in NZ, M60 not so much) to handle the torque and your ready to roll!

Yes we can... but it's more likely a fault with yours. We can check it for you and diagnose what the intermittent fault is

Considering I 'need' a permit for oil,. Can't understand why they took Diff Mount. Box had been opened and turned upside down before it even arrived.. Also surprised no tax considering was NZD475.. Luck I guess

Love those big boxes of parts... Until I have to find the time to fit it all. Got a box of little parts in the shed that I've never got round to using... Can't remember what half of them are now and have to look up all the part numbers to see where they go! haha

Silver E46 M3 with the number plate "A2K" or something along those lines parked at work yesterday, pretty sure it's a member's car? Either way, it's looking bloody awesome!

Back together and the engine is now running beautifully after a stuttery start... Still need to do some painting in the engine bay but it'll require some careful masking so haven't got round to it yet. The engine cover needs repainting as well, I tried to cure it in situ last time and it just didn't work as the sound deadening rubbed on it before the paint had properly cured. Then the strut bar can go back on. All up this job took a lot of man hours and that was with help from Martin. Now that I've done it once I could do it again in half the time... But I really don't want to!

Ah. Wow. Carerra RSR - this livery is my favorite And I think the prettiest car ever made - the Alfa 33 Stradale 270bhp @ ~9000 rpm out of a 2.0L V8, in a car that weighs 700kg. I can't think of anything better. EDIT: Also: What a ridiculous sound:

Original LS400, aka Celsior in the JDM market. I read a fantastic book about the whole story written by an author that had unseen documents and interviewed some key figures involved during the developmental stage in the 1980s. I just love it's relentless attention to detail, the quality inside and out is exceptional, and the subtle exterior detailing holds many interesting features. "The Japanese behemoth pumped more than $1 billion dollars into project F1. The F in this case stood not for "Formula" but for "Flagship." At its height, F1 employed 3700 of Toyota's top engineers, split into 24 engineering teams. They built 450 mules and 900 test engines and logged more than 1.5 million development miles -- incredible numbers, by any standard. Toyota bet that gasoline would once again be cheap and plentiful, so it started work on the F1's heart, a 4.0-liter, 32-valve V-8. Producing 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, the engine was very potent by the standards of the day" My favorite would be the 1997-8 facelift 2nd Gen complete redesign with the VVTi engine making the car good for a 0-60 sprint of 6 seconds flat. One quick barge.

M3 of course! Apart from the e30 the others are good to go now that the 46 isn't spewing coolant. Cut down to 4 bmws now, times are tuff!
