If you can find a cheap one on ebay, a CD43 from an E36 with a GROM audio Bluetooth adaptor. I'm about to start installing this setup with a separate amp (speaker level inputs from the CD43), I will post on here the setup when it's finished.

Well turns out the GME is indeed faulty. Which is a bastard as thats the last solution I had come up with. I assumed they were going to plug in the tester and see if it was sending everything to sleep as I had discussed with them over the phone, but no. So 4 hours at $100 an hour of doing everything I had already done, they had confirmed it. Replacment ordered and on the way. I suppose the small bonus is he said I was bang on with my diagnosis hahaha sheeeeit. All ready for the new owner whom ever it may be lol

not even that, the euro 3.0 makes more power than the US M3. The 3.0 evo makes more again. The euro S50 engines are stunners, nothing beats the throttle response of ITBs.

Just had my car put through a WOF by the local dealership. Its a '97 520i with 220000km on it and I'm sure they could've condemned it if they had a mind to. However, after finding a worn rear suspension arm balljoint as a part of a wheel alignment, that was all it required along with a set of wiper blades - and just a note that rear brake hoses were starting to persih - very pleased with the service. I used to use VTNZ for years but lately they've just gotten silly - and not only do they not have the specs on hand for the particular car, they also dont have the procedure for testing those specs - for example, dealing with suspension they jack very car up exactly the same way regardless of suspension design. I have had two instances where they have failed WOFs and then taken the car to the particular brand dealerships (Nissan and Toyota) only to be told the car is fine and within tolerance.

Vero underwrites Autosure and also the MTF MBI plan I put on my X5. If you are doing a private purchase (like my X5 was) then you can ping MTF Mt Victoria (I can provide details) and they'll sell you a MBI. Bear in mind that there's 2 tiers of MBI - I put the 'Extreme' one on my 545i - and the Vero ones have Gold and Platinum with differences not just in claim limit but also what is covered. I've attached all the docs I got from Jono @MTF. If you're after a Motorsport Touring 550i my mate Ant has one for sale here in Welly - has 75kms on it and *lots* of extras for $24K. They aren't OEM, Not too bad for the price but id personally rather spend a bit more and get Bosch. Why are you replacing the coils? they aren't generally regarded a wear item, and unlike in older cars with just one, there are 6 so if one fails you will never be stranded.

Hope his kidneys are still good, they're worth a bit. Just got the final word from the Police - car's owner no longer contactable. Vehicle is yours to do what you wish. So I guess beers at mine once it's running?

Definitely get a specialist to inspect it. The fact it has a WOF and AA inspection just tells you there isn't anything obvious. Autosure warranty is good but it rules out mods, and many people love to mod 335is for power because it's so easy. They're awesome cars though, love mine. As above, my warranty has also paid for itself. Waterpump and charge pipe went on mine. Waterpump was a small leak so wasn't urgent, charge pipe exploded after flashing the BMW Performance Power kit so I replaced with an aftermarket metal one.

Had mine for 10 months. Two items I've had to deal with. * Water Pump / thermostat * Ignition coils Make sure you get the car checked by a BMW service agent and buy a decent warranty. Autosure or the like. It's paid for itself with the above two items I've had to deal with.
