    Am after a good running M52B25 from an E36, or possibly E39 but not the TU version for the 2kcup project. Preferably just the block and head.

    yea that's nothing try driving a V10 M5 or M6 around town 22-24L per 100km even the 4.4L x5 can do 15-16L

    Just to clarify - if it is the same vehicle, it was purchased by a man called Graham Peddler from Napier in the early 2000's (he bought it off the South African family who bought it new in SA) and spent possibly 7-10 years in the HB area whilst in the hands of one or 2 subsequent owners. For sale in 2010 or so for around $10k on trade me but was looking rough. Then resurfaced a few years ago in Wellington for a similar price. The only 2 other white examples were a NZ car that was written off a few years ago and another identical example from the UK that is still owned by a close Friend of mine.

    So today I fixed my coolant level sensor and my unreadable check control display. Perfect, no more dead pixels or dash light!

    Tasty little update: - Bonnet Latches - HVAC & Stereo Delete Panel - Aux Fan Wired Up - Door Cards Tidied Up - Stealth Voltmeter Installed - CBI "Cold Beer Intake" A single word of advice for people who want to install bonnet latches.......................don't Waiting for my switch panel to arrive, iv been annoyingly waiting for a couple weeks now. Need it to wire the switches and push button start because #racecar Door cards are tidied up! Needs some rubber stripping to finish it off Stealth Voltmeter Car runs a bit tipsy must be the 'Cold Beer Intake'

    New and with with alu end tanks to boot. Purdy... Thanks to @richard for a good deal and great chat! He even threw in a fan cowl which I needed and some ancillaries I can probably reuse. Now, just gotta get that fan off!
