Hey guys I'm new to this! My car is a 1991 e30 with m20b27 eta engine with a 885 head and 288 cam installed! Plus a lot more extras!! I've built this over the last year from pretty much a reaprayed shell and used parts of my old rusted out e30 and the Facebook bmw pages! My plan now is to supercharge it with a SC14 supercharger! This is were the fun begins! Anyone with info on this please feel free to share you thoughts opinions and any help towards making the brackets down to pulleys etc! big ups to Mike Witheford for helping me out with a lot of parts and valuable informations and Hyde Motor Works for the extreamly useful information he's provided me!

I would expect a marsh head to be a tony marsh ported head, if it is that will be worth a small fortune.

lots of unique parts on these . front chassis legs have notches to allow the axle movement up and down , floor on the front left beside the passenger knees has a bulged to allow space for the transfer case different front and rear hubs , brakes , front arms , steering rack (not a box) . front struts etc sump has the front diff bolted to it, one axle goes though it., pretty much same design for the front setup that they used for the X5 models http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E34-Touring/Europe/525ix-M50/R-M/browse/engine/oil_pan_oil_level_indicator/ http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E34-Touring/Europe/525ix-M50/R-M/browse/transfer_box_electric_gearbox/transfer_box/ http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E34-Touring/Europe/525ix-M50/R-M/browse/front_axle/ http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E34-Touring/Europe/525ix-M50/R-M/browse/brakes/

from what I have seen, the sumps are specific to the 525iX, so that means only M5x engines could go in, unless you want to go fully custom.

Its about par for course for a good series car. Get a car, build it to race series spec & see what it costs...

Quit a lot of my indie listening has fallen away. Really need to invest in a record bath/ vacuum system and record the stuff digitally fir the back catalogue that can't be brought. However, Still listen to Killing Joke these days. One of the band members lived in NZ so have been hopping they'd get together and run a gig down under. I'm still waiting .......

when Clive had it, it was stock as a stock thing, he was working to ensure it was top notch. Looking on car jam the plate was original until June this year. Paul, are you thinking on an M5 donk, or an M54 or similar?

mirror time. Baby approves. chopped up the old stock E82 ready for 3D scanning Motorsport mirrors, both weighed 147grams each. Stock mirror is 1200g each. Left glass fits nicely, right side is very motorsport, needs some glass sanded back to fit nicely. Damn rain, stopping play outside.

Put the Soarer on the dyno last weekend, made a peak figure of 157rwkw which isn't too bad for the 4.3. The stock 4.0 engine would have made approx 127rwkw, and a lot less torque than the 4.3. Normally these have more but the active suspension pump is an approximate loss of 15rwkw Next I'll do headers that should bring it up to around 165rwkw, after that some sort of piggy back tune.
