@zero https://www.meeknet.co.uk/e31/BMW_M60_M62_M62TU_Engine_Cooling_System.htm You're going to have no dramas at all man, 100 should be sweet i've seen plenty of other people use normal BC/CC on BMW rocker covers, mainly m20's but maybe they operate slightly cooler

@M3AN yeah bro, i gave up and then put the allen key bolt back in, painted it - and then took a photo Paint should hold up alright, it's got clear coat over it if it were just base coat, i think it would be chewed up quite quickly Regretting not doing the front brake pads while it was out, could have gone to a ceramic pad, less dust!

Not a thing mate, the window regulators are the only parts on the new doors. Both in working condition. ???.

I'd jump down the throat of $500 and wouldn't even consider prepping it myself for that. Seems like a sharp price. What do you have to remove from the alu doors? And then it's just the indicator and two trim pieces per side, 5 mins work.

Sounds like the best way to get it looking right....

What do you think By Accident, want me to, drop off the doors so they can be prepped Bring the car in a couple of days later,(with all trim on fenders removed) for a couple of days. They will paint the new doors and feather out the front and rear panels to match the doors.

Just thought I had better add that Wagstaff European on Marua road was NOT the front for the headhunters gang. The place that was the front was further down Marua road and has changed into a general workshop.

Yes, you're right, you wouldn't get half of that for $1400 if you went to a pro. They're awesome, GLWS.

Spent the day upgrading the overall performance and handling of my suspension with after market tyre HARTGE valve caps. Well worth it

Drivers leather seat wiring and buckle successfully swapped out. Gave the interior a good clean out. Don’t think it had been cleaned in years, lots of built up skin oils and filth around all the switches/buttons and handles. Gave it a good clean on the outside too. Years of neglect by the looks with dirt, moss, leaves etc stuck around the corners of the boot door jam and other trims.

When you get exactly the right tool for the job... F' you wheel hubs, four blows each and both sides just popped out. Inner races are both stuck on the hubs (to be expected).

@zero who cares about the handbrake, or even if there's bolts holding it on! BLOW TORCH AND SMASH THE THING OFF! BMW's are built for punishment
