    What could possibly go wrong?

Cleaned them all up, lots of leather conditioner. Gave the rails a bit of a spruce up (they are Recaro E87 rails, which is cool). Also drove over the Kaimais today in torrential rain, lots of standing water on road. Tyres arent even a little bit sketchy in the wet, work fine.

If this were my kids doing I could understand it ... and probably change it. Instead I correct it and bite my tongue ... over ... and ... over ... again 😆

I do like to live dangerously with my car purchases... 🤣

Considering the seller has 9 1star reviews, all for communication and description, probably not a bad thing you missed out on it

Got the laser cutting back and it all looks really good, drilled the three remaining holes for the trans mount and it fits up perfectly. Will be nice to get the posts welded up onto the plate and remove the jack stand finally !! Also picked up the first load of AN fittings for the dry sump plumbing which is pretty exciting. So eye watering, that's about $650 worth 🤯 and about a third of what I need.

All e70 diesels have DPF AFAIK, was a market option on the last of the e53s too

Thought I recognized the house in his other listings. It's the spot that hosted the influencer party during lockdown. https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/300434808/covid19-police-issue-six-infringement-notices-to-north-shore-partygoers Probably a stand up member of society.

Did the E70 come with a DPF..? It might have in some markets, EU maybe hence the AdBlue which wasn’t required for NZs lax emission rules. All the more reason why people should not be allowed to muck about with emission control systems on cars. Really pisses me off, glad to see they are starting to pick up on this kind of dumbf**kery at WoF time now.

Probably to find a way around CGA by selling “privately” through TradeMe rather than off the yard. Pretty sketchy, and I think that approach has been tested in the tribunal before.

I know plenty of i3 drivers that have only used the 3-pin plug charger to keep the car topped-up. Can easy cope with the daily commute, you probably could miss a day and still re-charge to full overnight. Obviously take a bit longer for the 180km trip but should still be ok. 15A circuit will be great, just make sure the charger is in plenty of air / not in direct sunlight when doing the bigger charge as it has a thermal overload trip in it.

New joiner. Pics of the daily driver before we had kids, daily driver after we had kids. Both now in NZ (both kids and both cars) and we also have a Polo Cross. I don't have any pictures in of the Polo in front of Chateaus. Been a member of z3mcoupe UK forum for a while (since 2010 - a lifetime ago if you're 12). The z3m forum has been an excellent resource. There may be some overlap between z3mcoupe with bimmersport NZ too so 'g'day' to any fellow members. Cheers, Bruski
