They are in parallel with the front door speakers, so it'll be an equalizer thing, or your front door speakers wouldnt be working either.

Yep - I have this cup set I used to do the rear bushings on my E46 Touring a few years ago. I'm assuming that's the car you want it for? It weighs about 5kg (for shipping purposes)

BMW E36 Touring Have owned this wagon close to half a year, has served as a great daily driver, and perfect for road trips. Its a 318iA M43B18 automatic (avrg 300kms to half a tank). Registration until June 2023, currently no WOF Wagon comes with the following: -New front brake pads -New ABS front sensors -Purple tag steering rack (great upgrade) Overall the car is straight and tidy, few shopping trolly scratches, only area of clear coat peal is on the boot below number plate. Not too noticeable Heater and A/C all work. Full genuine Motorsport Body kit with M3 wing mirrors. Original BMW cassette radio. Genuine set of Motorsport DS1 sunflower wheels + matching spare wheel (x5 wheels). Central locking with alarm. Motorsport sill trims and steering wheel. Cons: Will need a wheel alignment for wof, and new brake pads (included with sale) ABS light is on dash, scanned and fault was the front sensors (included with sale). Drivers side electric window has came off the slider, will need to be adjusted. Not interested in trade deals PM for further details and to arrange a time to view. Located in Pukekohe. $6,800 or nearest offer.

haha i would but i'll be stocking up ❤️ 😛 that's really odd, they probably have a higher demand and customer rate on ebay than their local stores.

Main bearing clearances checked. Looking very borderline. Spec is 0.020-0.058mm, mine are hovering at 0.050-0.064mm with a few clearly veering more towards 0.064mm. The crankshaft did get a polish so not overly surprised. Roll with it or panic stations?

At least you can generally predict those types. Some 50-60 year old woman decided it was a good idea change lanes mid roundabout and smacked into my friends E36 i was driving. She so was clueless that she thought i had hit her initially, but luckily a witness stopped. Probably a write-off now and you cant exactly go out a buy a tidy 318is with 120,000 on the clock.

Having spent quite a bit of time on the highways and byways of this great country over recent weeks, I have become aware of new variants of f**ktards on the roads. Not only is the right hand lane the natural habitat of poor lane discipline, but now the centre lane seems to be a breeding ground for “centre lane cruisers” to pootle along at nowhere near the speed limit or indeed the speed of other traffic. Even being passed rapidly on both sides at once doesn’t seem to suggest to them to speed up or pull over. I have observed that some of this group are also members of the “womble on to the 100/110km/h road at 50-60km/h” club. The give way rules onto highways are clearly not applicable, and how some of them didn’t get cleaned up in the process was a miracle. Thinking about getting an old Land Cruiser or similar to use as an Urban Assault Vehicle rather than keep putting myself at risk avoiding these clowns.

On a concrete floor in front of a bench. You even get to trample on some smug gits face while working.

I'm struggling to understand how a engine running perfectly at shut down one night, then come the following morning the piston rings have failed causing major compression loss and the engine not to fire. Is it worth getting a second opinion from a different workshop or doing a little more investigation yourself? It does not seem like the root cause of your problem has been identified.

False alarm on the thrust bearing front - I am an idiot. Took a fresh look last night after work and it quickly became evident what I'd been doing wrong. When I got onto the job Sunday night, for whatever reason I had been adamant that the thrust bearing went on cap #7 so was trying to force it onto where it was never going to fit... My brain must have checked out for the day. Of course it's cap #6, even has the grooves for the edges to slide into. Switched them round and all went on fine. Embarrassing. Boxing on.

Wouldn't it be more likely because it's CLAR platform? Isn't an M235i xDrive GC on the UKL platform (depending on options) 200-250kg lighter? I can't really think of any safety or driver aids that would add significant weight that haven't been in use for the last 20 years... Not being facetious, I genuinely can't think of any that aren't sensors / wiring / 1 million lines of code.

This things f**ken hilarious. Vrs mode and it sounds like a RS4 V8, completely fake, but it goes from boring generic middle management wagon into snarling angry terrier, its proper agro . Set the Old Taupo Rd (W) Vrs time, good fun, gearbox is cool (very clever software), steering is dead but suspension is well tuned. Even with the thrashing still ended up with 7.1l/100km over 640km journey.
