Jesus man, chill out. Chris has been very helpful and given you everything you need, no need to be rude about it. If you had engaged some brain cells instead of raging, you would've scrolled down and seen that everything for the engine is broken down category by category on that site. Its all there, you just need to look. I guess you can lead a horse to water, etc etc.

Did you do something cool over the break period, or snap a pic of anything wicked over the year? Share 'em here for us to oogle while we're back at work or winding down. I took the hard top off and went camping. Convertibles are pretty much just fancy utes anyway right?

A 6 speed manual transmission E86 3.0si is a pleasure to own and drive. Especially in Motorsport spec (Sports seats, wheels and suspension). And worth every penny over your barry basic E86 auto.....😁

Only seen one Z4 coupe manual over the last few years. Trademe auction with $29k start price. Don't know what the reserve was.

Tried and tried but the only answer I get is... Thank you for getting in touch with BMW New Zealand. Unfortunately, we don't sell or release workshop manuals. Workshop manuals are only provided to our authorized technicians. ...so, are there any authorized technicians here that can email me a PDF of the E91 Pre-LCI 320i Sport M workshop manual?

Sounds like you are after an Haynes manual or similar, those linked are literally the workshop manuals BMW use. BMW workshops dont rebuild engines, particularly not N46s. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/bmw/accessories/listing/4276761575?bof=kbGDaPjS

*Disclaimer* I've read the stickies in both this sub-forum and the "For Sale" sub-forum and I think that this is where I am supposed to/allowed to post this. The sticky in this sub says you're allowed to post trademe listings you own in the "For Sale" section, but then a reply from a mod to the sticky in the "For Sale" section says if you want to sell as an auction then you need to use Trademe... So... I think this is the right place. Apologies to the mods if I've interpreted the rules incorrectly. I have for sale on Trademe the old steering wheel out of my 2005 E46 M3. I have set it to $1 reserve as a) can't work out a good way to realistically price in NZ and b) would like it to get out of my house and to someone who has a use for it. Details and link below: This wheel is out of a 2005 E46 M3 and comes with wheel, upper trim with multi-function buttons, lower trim, SMG paddles, wiring, etc. It does NOT come with airbag. This wheel is in generally poor condition as can be seen in the photos. However the upper trim with buttons is in excellent condition, with no scratches or marks that I can see. It therefore probably makes a great candidate wheel for someone who wants to get it re-wrapped and the lower trim repainted. Note also that the paint is bubbling on the back of the SMG paddles where your fingers rest. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/bmw/steering/listing/4272553508

I bought a diamantschwarz m325i as a parts car about 10 years ago. Interior was in parts, body had a fair amount of rust. Probably would have been worth saving in hindsight considering the condition of e30s these days 😆

You would need to define which series of 320i you have, E30, E36, E46, E90…

Gone to a new home but will not be forgotten. I learned quite a few new swear words while working on the E92, and I'm sure they will come in handy next time I bust a knuckle working on a car Cheers...

At least it's in New Zealand. Thanks for the link. I didn't want to have to tear the pages out of a Haynes manual to make scanned copies and post them online. I like Haynes and feel a little ratchet about doing it to them, but if that's going to be the only way to get it out there for everyone to share...
