Looks pretty minor in terms of damage for a frontal, that front radiator support is mostly sacrificial and will collapse and tear from the chassis. Quite an easy part to remove and replace. Looks like the bumper's and bumper shocks got missed or did their job and aren't affected, bumper and Mtech2 valance seem to be still sitting in the right space. Would be a shame to part that out, quite easily repairable with a new bonnet, valance, replace the radiator core support (still available new) and a few things crushed on the front of the motor like the radiator, distributor, waterpump etc. Even the fenders look unscathed only some minor damage to the right one.

Yup, that’s the Isle of Man green, on an M3 Touring no less.

Installed a clutch stop the other day. Tiny little mod but makes gearshifts quicker and less vague. Screwed it all the way in until it bottomed out and didn't need any adjustment beyond that, ended up pretty much spot on. The clutch now starts to engage as soon as you let off the pedal. Good stuff.

Aramex... again. Amazon package 'attempted delivery failed, unable to locate premises" on Friday. Delivery location... Auckland Museum, Auckland Domain, Parnell 1010, Auckland, New Zealand. And they have delivered there many times. 🙄 Yes, that's the correct address. And it's a pretty big building, in a pretty big park. Any courier driver that can't find that shouldn't be in the "profession". So I called them and confirmed the address. Now, tracking update Monday "Held in Problem Freight", called them again, new tracking update Tuesday "Held in Problem Freight", called them again, new tracking update Wednesday "Held in Problem Freight"... ffs. Their offshore call centre can't transfer me to "Problem Freight" (despite tracking updates imploring me to talk directly to "Problem Freight" because even they can not call this department, they can only message them. So Customer Service can do nothing except regurgitate what is available on the public tracking site. smh.

Looks to be the one i saw on the back of the tow truck coming up country last week, did’t notice the front damage. I knew that E30 front cut garden ornament would come in handy.

Oh damn! I was chatting to the owner at the Mt Smart M fest, hell of a nice guy - was an aircraft engineer for the Airforce I recall? The patina on this car is amazing, the engine still has cosmoline all over it - a truly honest unrestored example. As luck would have it I'll be in Auckland this arvo, will have to swing past and check it out - I'll definitely be having a bid.

Wairarapa SH2 roadworks claimed my windscreen this morning. Not excited about the replacement process, especially at this time of year. Given the terrible reviews of S+S Glass (who are preferred repairer) wondering if I should call Continental Cars and see what they'd charge. Screen has rain sensor and high beam assist camera so hopefully I should get an OEM screen rather than some janky chinese crap
