2 pointsHey guys, Just wanted to update this, I've purchased this car - it needs some TLC but it has been very well taken care of mechanically (BM Workshop history) previous owner is an absolute legend and BMW enthusiast with a wealth of knowledge. I will admit it took some convincing for him to sell the car but happy i got it over the line.

1 pointwith all the simple remote desktop options, all that work can be done easily remotely as long as you provide the laptop and connection locally the person doing the programming can be basically anywhere,helps If your also on the phone for any manual type instructions like turning a key or starting the car there shouldn't be any issues really,

1 pointYou don't really need new pressure plate bolts. They're not stretch to yield, new ones just come with thread locker pre-installed. You'll get the same result by cleaning up the old ones and applying some Loctite when installing, save yourself a few $.

1 pointPromo can do the key for my CLK, too - but does need the car because of the way things are registered. I have the 'right' laptop for the MB software and an image to upload, but haven't done it yet. And distance might be an issue.

1 pointI "think" this is a car a looked at a few years ago for someone on here, at the time it had a bird sh*t welded 120 back box on it, dead clutch throwout bearing, and the rear arches were chewed out and cracked paint from poor fitment. Trying to find pics I took to confirm rego.
