  2. It could be an earthing or a positive lead problem... check all your battery, starter, alternator & earth leads and connections
  3. I've been having a few issues with the resident a**hole over the past few months. Wifey informs me, he makes me spend $850 on ciggarettes & $350 on beer per month on average and he's trying to kill me... far out... I know were this could go...... maybe a project or two ? Anyway... yesterday morning I was having a coffee out on the deck at 3.00am with the prick.. and 2 cigs later, he informs me theres no more left... WTF !! you didn't bring any home ??? nup... F.U.T.T... Havent spoken to the prick since. So its a cold turkey run for me ATM...no patches, no pills...just going to do it... and get rid of the a**hole that's been trying to kill me for many, many years... and spend the money on projects that cant kill me. 2nd Day... tolerance levels for idiots have always been a constant "O"... but today I have "O" for people contact altogether.... Seat squab clamp

    I have them in stock
  7. Andrew is correct. Thats a medium case. You count the bolts on the side bearing carriers, not the rear housing. I'd use the E30 325 Motorsport axles though, they have larger joints and slightly thicker axles.
  8. Have a great day Marko From Glenn & the Team @ B.M.W Ltd
  9. Ooops..forgot to add...they will do component welding, but not chassis or body work.
  10. I use Pakuranga Engineering... Ask for Iian McGregor
  11. It's not very different from the Vid of you and your mates being stupid.... close the door and use a seat belt would have prevented that.

    E36 Jatco box

The main problem with E36's with Jatco's is they dont have three pedals, they only made them with two

    Audi S4

Water pump is driven by a seperate belt Grant. Cambelts on those from memory are done every 5 years or 60k I may be wrong on the 60k, but most of the 5 cylinders are 60k
  14. ^^^ thats what I'm using with genuine pads... work great
  15. We use ELF 15w40 semi synthetic on E36's

    headers

PM "WAYNEY" on the forum...he imports them
  17. Open the throttle by hand at the throttle body. Remove the retaining clip off the cable and remove the inner cable end from the fulcrum. Then pull the outer cable through the adjuster, pull back the adjuster and remove the grommet from the bracket (carefully) then you can remove the cable... I hope that makes sence. Lubing it probably won't fix it though. It could also be sticking in the throttle body
  18. Can't help with parts.... just curious Any info on what your doing ? I know Achtzylinder = 8 cylinder
  19. When you get the manual conversion done, make sure you get them to remove the engine as well and do all the oil leaks at the same time. Clutches don't like oil in the bell housing. Do the RC gasket with new bolt seals, oil filter remote housing, F & R crank seals and sump gasket.

    Unswept volumes

That... and the fact I've always wanted to do & always do something a bit different.. rather than follow what every other person does... we'll just have to see what the result is
  21. Slightly over won't hurt... I run .5 litres over all the time... more than that could cause issues though.

I get the M54B30 block on Monday and I'll progress from there...more research needed but at least I've got something to start with. I'm probably not going to use BMW pistons...more like something starting with for.... My present path is: M54B30 crank & rods M50B25 Vanos cast steel block M52B28 Vanos Head
  23. Not with the door trim... the airbags do have to be removed to do the weather seals though. Give me a call I'm at work ATM for about another half an hour
