I see you drive a 2000 E39 525 MS.... why didn't you buy a 2000 Holden Commodore ? They are cheaper and have 4 wheels and go round corners and do skids... or maybe that's just personal choice. I like Marmite.. not vegemite = personal taste & choice I like baked beans... not spagetti I drink Lion Red... not spirits I could go on & on.... but I won't All personal taste & choices I also get grumpy, have more money since I gave up smoking and don't mind paying whatever for something I like rather than substitute for something I don't like. You may have dislodged the outer kickdown cable--- check both ends

Can I ask why you didn't go first oversize on the pistons to get a better piston to bore fit ??

I would suggest you replace all the fuel lines in the engine bay with the correct hose (Wurth 7.5 mm HP fuel line) & EFI hose clips
