  1. I'll just add before anyone says it.... No we didn't have the wheels off. We did the control arm bushes and lower arm bushes in place on the car without having to remove the wheels. We do all our cars like this. It was I that suggested to Yongxi to check his wheels.
  2. CDL in Manukau sell injector kits... seals, pintle cap & basket filter for about $12 an injector. CDL = Carburettor Distributors Ltd. BTW. You need to get the broken piece out of the motor before starting it, it could hold a valve open

  13. Dont use sealant on the rocker cover. Use a new gasket and new 1/2 moon seals. Make sure all surfaces are really clean. Check with your local Automotive Locksmith. You might have to get a second hand one and get it recoded to your existing key
  14. Quite common.... either key, control unit or the barrel in the door starting to fail causing the switch not to be in it's central position
  15. I would say he's dreaming.... but there is one born every minute, so he may be lucky
  16. If the remote stops working and you use the blade all the time, the lock will break. Then you may not be able to access the car. Cheapest fix then is to break a rear 1/4 window
  17. It belonged to one of my customers and I've been servicing it for 10 years. Has new radiator, tyres, shocks and heap loads of work over the years
  18. What youv'e got is what you will get...only new this time round
  19. It's still a very tidy well maintained car. I rebuilt the motor about 12 years ago and did a sh*t load of work on it
  20. Its best to drain oil, change filter, clean & refit pan with new gasket. Replace wiring loom socket in the housing as well if there are signs of leaking then refill correctly with the appropriate oil. There are 2 different oils that are used dependant on the type of gearbox.
  21. Was my wifes now my sister inlaw is selling it. Worth looking at http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-454506504.htm

It's possibly only a faulty pressure switch, but you need to check the oil pressure with a guage to be sure.
  23. I would also advise getting yourself an owners manual relevant to your model. It's all in there
