An Aussie couple was shopping and the mall was packed. Walking along the surprised wife looked up and noticed her husband was nowhere around and she was very upset because they had a lot to do. She used her cell phone to call her husband to ask him where he was. In a calm voice he said, honey remember the Jewellery Store we went into 5 years ago where you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we could not afford and I told you that I would get it for you one day. His wife crying by this time, said yes I remember that Jewellery Store well. > > > > > > > He said, I'm in the Bar next to it.

It will be a corroded earth terminal in the plug. We remove the earth wire from the plug, add a liitle more wire to it and fit a female lucar terminal on it. Plug this dirrectly onto the earth circuit board. There should be provision for it. You will see the earth on the circuit... ring me if you don't understand this.

Remove pre cat oxygen sensor and drive it. Will make a bit of noise and dont drive it too far. The exhaust will be hitting the chassis rail.

Congrats to you & your wife Clinton

Sounds like a blocked cat..... can check it for you

Don't condem it yet... remove plugs, refit plugs, start and run engine, remove plugs, then do compression test with wide open throttle. If compressions are then ok...get it scanned. It's likely to be only a faulty ignition coil

If the tailgate doesn't have a lock barrel in it that works, open a window incase the actuator in the drivers door locks the car
-
Did you buy this privately or from a dealer ??
-
It does though... the air con doesn't have to work as hard to keep the interior cool

We only use new to replace these when they fail. The vacuum fitting for the hose gets loose in the housing and leaks. If the fitting is OK and not loose in the housing you can fit new seals. Can you PM me the details of who supplied the reco one & how much ?
-
I suggest you spent a couple of grand on the car replacing all the above... then get it checked by someone who knows what they are doing with all the right gear

It's called a Lobro joint Geof
-
I suggest you take it back immediately and get it sorted before you have an accident

Just buy a second hand transmission pan with the drain & fill plugs in it, new gasket, filter and do the job properly using the correct allen key sockets. Did you strip the filler by using the wrong allen key or did you over tighten it instead of undoing it ?

I'd get it scanned first. Most sensors on the car are temperature sensitive. You need to do this first before anything else

Can sort it for you...ring me in the morning
