You're not paying for the 2nd one so no GST collected? Same as if you return it to a store, they don't collect GST on the replacement as no financial transaction has taken place

Awesome! I had a customer drive off the end of our Carpark at work and only had 2 wheels on the ground. Slapped in in reverse and drove off.

There's an e90 at pick a part. All wheels look ok in the photos -
Chucked one if these in yesterday along with new power steering lines so hopefully no more leaks. Made some wheel alignment adjustments. So far seems good

V8 for 11k ono https://www.trademe.co.nz/2412795085 3litre petrol for 9k https://www.trademe.co.nz/2446883962 Couple of 30ds on trademe for 10k to but closing in on 300km but they are overpriced in my opinion. Those engines aren't bulletproof, had 3 with bearing failures in the last 6 months

Not really cheap in my opinion. Many can be had for less than 20k even with the big ticket items done

If it was still original colour, i'd say about $70k right for the price however think it is probably worth closer to $50k Nonetheless, would still kill to have this in my driveway

Just because you pass a WOF without them doesn't mean that the OP will. I can guarantee that it is checked but not every inspector is going to know the location of the cats in every vehicle so it can be something over looked. If they have any doubts then they can fail you

Yeah it's been on and off trademe, front what I remember someone said that the photos hide a number of blemishes -
Is it the original BMW battery? If so, white = lead acid, black = AGM Having thought about it some more, 75aH is unlikely to be original battery as they typically tend to be 70,80,90 etc

Dream car right there! I can't remember the guys or company name but there is BMW wrecker in Hinds. He has just collected my friends e3 3.0 which was complete but a rust bucket and was planning on wrecking it I believe

Yeah the valve stem seals go at half the mileage on some of them, but at 6.5k it's alot of car for very little money

Maybe exaggerated with 'plenty' but anything $1 reserve goes sub 10k. Two examples where here in Chch, 3litre petrol with 120k for $6500. V8 with 220k for 7ish. Both had all the big stuff down like suspension airbags, valley plate on the v8 etc etc

About 5k over priced in my opinion. Plenty of them to be had under the 10k mark

Definitely get photos of the damage, particularly the interior. Who knows what was done to the inside, could cause electrical issues. Try to get something that indicates it has been repaired correctly. Had a customer buy a repaired import and were forever chasing electrical issues either due to the accident or the shoddy repairs

There is no money in refurbishing wheels if you are looking to sell one unless they are one of a kind. I picked up some 14inch weaves for $160 with no centres. I wouldn't bother getting centres from USA, just as cheap if not cheaper at the dealer To pay $500 for some 14inch weaves, you would hope they are mint -
