Haha cheers @M3AN I'll try explain a little better. That is my old pump, and the elbow fitting at the front (think it's the return) slides out. The new pump doesn't have an elbow fitting, but the pump is threaded where the elbow fitting goes

Power steering pumps! Went to replace mine and the new one didn't come with this outlet. Went to swap it over only to find the pump is threaded, old one is held in by friction. Anyone come across this before? E36 328

  10. Hell of a car, build thread is on here somewhere. Was lucky enough to go for a ride back in the when Matt the original owner finished
  11. Purple tags come in e46 compact so if you are willing to pull one, then check out pick a part. Plenty of them pop up there

It's not so much the stop start but the overall length of the journey, lugging around the extra weight. I can't remember what the crosspoint is distance wise but I'm sure it's around somewhere. Have a look at the f30 320d, probably one of the best all rounders out there
  14. Try newtis.info Has most of the BMW repair instructions. It's not always clear but might help
  15. Keep an eye on pick a parts website and grab them when one comes through
  16. So I f**ked up and order the wrong lips ? does anyone have a pair 16x2.5 bbs rs lips they want to trade for a pair 3inch ones? Or would sell them for $400 for the pair
  17. Protecta are one of the worst ones I've dealt with as a repairer. Provident and Autosure are the best in my opinion. And priced the same for coverage
  18. Thats a standard price for 3 years coverage, not getting ripped with at that price

lol, Jaguar has big grilles but are clearly in denial about it. Most of their cars have big grilles
  20. Can you expand why did you not claim on the starter motor and cover gasket? Starter motor itself is worth alot more that your excess!
  21. So you won't need the engine then? It wasn't until afterwards I figured out it was you, I was trying to get my mate to buy it
  22. You'll be fine, most warranty companies are good as long as you keep up your end of the bargain as outlined in the booklet. The two that are the best in my eyes are Autosure and Provident
  23. Usually once a repair has taken place, all faults codes are cleared so they can ensure it's been fixed. So anything in the memory currently will have occurred since. It records the mileage it occurred, and how often. Who is your warranty with and how long have you had it for?
