VAG parts are massively expensive. There's a few BMW/VW/Audi parts that are all the same and BMW are always the cheapest

I've just noticed, is the thread title supposed to 'braverian' or is that an auto correct from Bavarian?

Oil leaks and valve stem seals are the other two big ones

Don't need to code lock on drive away, turn it on via the options on the indicator stalk. Fuel flap isn't supposed to lock via the central lock button inside the car. Comes in handy at night if you want the fuel station attendant to full your car but you also don't want to get car jacked

Buying the car is easy. But my knowledge of the english language is no where good enough to explain how much their after sales support sucks -
That's the problem, old one slides out, no threads. New one does
-
Haha cheers @M3AN I'll try explain a little better. That is my old pump, and the elbow fitting at the front (think it's the return) slides out. The new pump doesn't have an elbow fitting, but the pump is threaded where the elbow fitting goes

Power steering pumps! Went to replace mine and the new one didn't come with this outlet. Went to swap it over only to find the pump is threaded, old one is held in by friction. Anyone come across this before? E36 328

The one I got for my car, someone had already pulled the engine, just spun it off the tie rod ends and gave it a wash
