  1. You need to have 4 of all the same. If you read it thoroughly it contracts itself slightly but has a line which states all 4 must be the same
  2. Afaik, no. But then again my car isn't running at the moment so will find out when it does
  3. Scored a right side headlight wipers and motor. Had to fit it so I don't lose any of it. Now to find a left side
  4. It's not the diameter it's the thickness which should be stamped on the rotors. At least with genuine ones they are
  5. Depends where you go. A mechanic would more than likely wheels off and measure properly as long as the discs had the min thickness stamped on them, but a testing station wouldnt. Same goes for window tints, if there are no markings then they can be failed and up to you to prove that they are ok
  6. If a vehicle comes with bump stops then it needs bump stops for the WOF. They can also fail you on brake rotors if they suspect they are undersized, it is then up to you to prove otherwise

    Quick Questions

Emblem comes with the airbagand can't buy new individually so best bet to find one 2nd hand or aftermarket
  10. 135 manuals are where the potential gains are. Few of them popping up for sale under 20k if the manual thing is a stopping block. Having driven a modded 335 I'm more than happy with the auto trans as you need both hands on the wheel. However most people want to go drifting and manuals tend to be better than full autos
  11. Chains are more of rattle than a click per say. Remove the oil filler cap you maybe able to see broken chain guides but depends on where and how bad they are broken
  12. Avoid the e46 318i, timing chain and valve stem seal issues. Should be able to get a manual e36 328 for that sort of price albeit a converted one
  13. Want this bad for the touring - bank account says no....
  14. F31's came in xdrive if it is an e91 then rear wheel drive
  15. That they have, there will be no 3 series GT
  16. BMW AG charges BMW NZ who then charges the local franchises who need to make a profit somehow. It's a business model setup from AG rather than BMW NZ issue they have little say it how it all works. Alot of stuff is well priced but some stuff varies differently
  17. 92euros shipped is about $160nzd. Not a huge difference
  18. They are about $230 total for 4 of each from bmw
  19. There are bargains out there, and as you say if you don't ask you will never find. Thats how I found my 18inch Hartges Desgn C for $1800
  20. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/472346109839336/ Here you go 130i for 8.5k
  21. Bonus if you find one with the timing chain replaced and valve stem seals done too. They are the only majors with the 4 cylinder engines
  22. And the hardtop. They are infinitely cool
  23. https://www.trademe.co.nz/1836883917 Best bargain on trademe at the moment imo
  24. Do you have individual tyre pressure monitoring? E.g. does the idrive show the pressure? If not i think it will warn you when it is about 5psi lower than the other side, maybe less I cant remember exactly
  25. That's pretty poor. Runflats are just as repairable as normal tyres, and if they took the tyre off you can see the damage or lack of on the inner of the tyre.
