Thought the exact same thing this afternoon. Give it a crunchy special and go drifting!
-
I'd give him 6k and strip it while keeping the Vaders for myself.
-
I followed you down Strickland Street a while back and it still sounds as good as I remembered. Good to see it still being looked after.
-
This is fascinating as hell even though i have no idea whats happening half the time! Keep coming with the updates :-)

Umm M5?
-
Ah - well they will fit if you run 225/35 tyres, roll the guards and a little camber. I've got 18.9.5 et21 on the rear of my wagon all good. Having said that, I believe that the m3 evo rear subframe is slightly wider than a normal e36 - could be wrong though.
-
Doesn't need any more machining instead hub rings as e36 centre bore is smaller than e39
-
Looks good now the wheel gap is sorted looking forward to seeing this progress

God those RDs look fantastic. Never used to like them until I saw this video of them on an e30 and wonder how they would on my wagon http://youtu.be/bMSIZbHdcHY

Spotted my 2nd Lexus LFA today. It sounded amazing even at cruising speed.
-
Pretty much agree with all above, you ain't gonna to make anything out of a 323...its considered the ugly duckling of the e36s

This. The day my 200sx got stolen was shithouse however the plus side was I replaced it with a BMW and never get looked at twice. Left the car unlocked with the window down one night. Everything was still there in the morning

Yea it is a pretty nice car but also very pricey. Was up for sale last year and didn't sell.
-
You should. They have awards for best euro and others which I'm sure yours would be eligible for.
-
Thats not fair! I want my own s54 wagon! Full credit to you Ray, your garage is almost worth coming all the way from Christchurch to see.

Award for the oldest thread dig goes to......

This is pretty much what I think. I have only driven a LHD car in NZ a handful of times and hated it. However if you can get a very tidy car that is a hoot to drive as a weekend car, would it be worth it if you could save yourself a couple of grand on the purchase price?
-
There has been the odd car pop up that has been LHD. Do you think they have the same value as a RHD? http://www.trademe.co.nz/834959624 And this Vw Golfy Cabby which is also sick but again, is it worth as much as RHD? http://www.trademe.co.nz/832138846

Correct way? Managed to get it to lock in place and wouldn't come out despite giving it a good yank. Gearbox went in relatively easily once we had it all lined up. Will look into oil pump drive but would have thought I would have noticed breaking something.

No dipstick no but easily checked. I have spare computer here so will give that a go today
-
What have you lowered it with? Lowering springs?
-
Finally got some time to tackle touring 2.0 and put in the other gearbox. Started and ran just fine. Took it for a drive and noticed it was a little sluggish around changing down. Then halfway home, nothing. Lost drive, lost reverse, wont engage any gear, same symptoms when I bought it. Any ideas on what it could be? Low trans fluid? Computer? Anyone in Christchurch got a scanner? Car is a e36 328 auto

Looks good dude, front could come down a little bit :-)
