Won't fit a coupe. Ti stuff is the same as 4 door
-
I think people in NZ have the mentality that they must have either a mint original car or heavily modded car to turn up to these meets. Sure they are the head turners and people will leave talking about them, but its not just about the cars which I think gets lost.
-
Bellicose did a write up on this a while back but cant seem to find it at the moment.
-
Can have a look for you but probably wont be for a week or so.

http://pistonheads.co.uk/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/m5/bmw-e34-m5-touring/1567573?isexperiment=true I had no idea they even made these and at 11k pounds, seems cheap to me

Does it have to be a 316? If you are going to put in a m52/54 then to me, it doesn't really matter. I would just be looking for a mint 4 door.
-
Quick search shows that the M3 set up is 19x8.5 ET29 / 19x9.5 ET23 while e90 is 35-40. My guess is depending on tyre sizes, probably not a lot, a quick roll and should be sorted.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/723777668 Only thing missing is a manual box but looks pretty tidy. Not sure about the price though, maybe slightly high IMO
-
What is your budget? Pretty much anything will go in an e30 if you are willing to pay.
-
How come? and how much?
-
I think tv3 show some of it but about 3weeks late. Good to know that they stream it, cheers for the link
-
You happy with the recharge? I got some aftermarket ones off ebay for about that price.
-
I still feel that the coupe should have stayed the 3 series and the 4 door be rebranded as the 4 series.
-
Oh gawd! I think the SLAB's have returned.
-
Cheers Mark. I have the same side skirts left over from my first e30 and never found out what they were.
-
Good buy. Also had this on my watchlist and it went for an absolute steal.
-
Up front yes, they will go lower than you will ever need. I would like a little more in the rear which is also why I would like 10k spring in the rear. The roads, yea well I used to live in Dallington and it wasnt the greatest but everywhere else they ride like a dream.
-
Haven't got around to certing it yet as wanted to do a few more things first. 6/8 is standard for the e36 but with the extra weight of the touring I think 8/10 might be more suitable. There is only one guy in Christchurch now who does certs Don Mclean - not sure on his last name but will be on the NZTA website.
-
Did you get the standard spring rates with the BCs? I find the e36 ones are slightly too soft for my liking, too much guard rub
-
Can't have searched that hard http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/44710-e36-323i-intake-swap-results/ Sure it's a 323 but the end result is the same. Its even got pretty pictures which sure even you can understand. Throw it away and get a manual conversion. /end thread

Those lips look great! How much did they set you back? PM me if you like, I'm thinking about getting some for my hartges.
-
There this here http://www.trademe.co.nz/714891470 I can check it out for you and if you buy, I'll claim the black rear seat ;-)
-
I think the problem Ben is that the F20 is still a reasonable new car so the tuning community, especially in NZ, haven't got their hand on it yet outside the reputable companies, ACS, Hartge etc. That said, there a few knowledgable people on this site who might be able to help. Sadly there have been a few new members of late who just make useless comments to 'bump' their post count. They will get bored once their 'e-penis' is big enough for them so stick around. You will figure out who the smart ones are soon enough.

Not a huge fan of the exhaust, doesn't look quite right with the twin exit.
