Call up Slingshot and get them to put a 24 hour monitor on the line. Then make a note of everytime it dropped so you can compare notes with them. Does it still drop when you are using an ethernet cable? I assume they installed a splitter when you went to VDSL

For your budget, I'd say you are more likely to come across a mint e36 vert that meets your needs and have some left over to do a wee bit of work if required. Good luck with your hunt. There was a nice Estoril Blue vert a while back on Trademe, they don't come up to often.

Finally convinced the mrs to sell the Alfa and get BMW. She has settled on a motorsport 1 series. Not fussed about engine size or transmission but must have low kms and cant be 'boring grey'. Budget of up to 18k. Seen pretty much everything on trademe but just seeing if there is anything else out there we are missing.

Lot of the flooding happened on govt reclaimed land so just keep an eye out for the 'told you we should take it'. Somehow my place end up on an island of sorts with all the roads around my street 3inchs under. If internet is critical for your business, then would it not make sense to pay for a guaranteed speed? In my line of work I see it all to often. A big corporate has problems because they rely on a 'basic' service with no back up and then complain that they can't do anything when said basic service goes down.
