  1. #metoo From what I have read on forums people are saying they are pretty reliable. Also interested in local feedback.
  2. Hyundai = humiliation. @Ripstart01 They are very hard to find. Consider converting one. If you found a manual one there would be 'just one'. You have you pick of hundreds of autos so would likely get a far better car & spec. I'd personally try and find a N55 DCT.
  3. I've heard of people getting under 10km on PSS. So would be interesting to hear how you go.
  4. How is the rear tyre wear going?
  5. Nice. Looks factory. I have been toying with the idea of wrapping my trip. Coby Wheel offers an alcanatra wrap dash trip for e46, but it's pricey. Going to give repainting a go and see how it looks.
  6. Yes - family got recall notice. How extensive is the fix do you know? Quick like the airbag or longer repair?

    Warning; stay away from watches.
  9. You'd be surprised how good the 'lux flakes' cleaning method works. As a last ditch effort also use a magic eraser too.
  10. Old man just got the F30 330d - I'm now looking for one too.
  11. I just have the all in one aerosol can puncture repair. Never used it though. Do they work?

  13. There are size limitations, but its a different tyre. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/Michelin-Pilot-Sport-4-vs-Pilot-Sport-4-S-vs-Cup-2.htm
  14. To be clear I am not hating on auto - and agree that with a tune they are actually really good. But flat peak, Monster Energy vape squad aren't so keen on them.

Not a lot to update, but here are some 'just washed' images 63,000km later.
  16. I'm a fan of this new 'flat' grey. Doesn't suit the M3 as much as the Audi's, but it is cool. I think it will age poorly though. (Remember when matte black was 'cool'? That didn't last long).

M3 is a far better investment than any cyrpto I've bought ! ?
  18. It's illegal still. I've been with people doing it in an e30, an e36 and an e46. Never done it on the car, you'd probably fall off and hurt yourself. E63 has quite a long hood though, so it might be the safest one not to fall off of.

Have you seen what e46s are selling for in the States? Low kms blues one NZ$75k. Comp pack $50k+ Hodl, we're going to the moon baby!
  20. If f80 can fit into e90, and e90 can fit e46, then f80 fit e46?

Based on this, there is probably only 50 6 speed ones in NZ. So there is probably only a handful under 100km now. You'll just have to wait a bit, they do come up, but there are a lot of 'lifers'.
  22. It's not the kind of car I would personally import. There are too many things you'd want an e46 'expert' to check out. The local market really ebs & flows. There are none on TM now, but ~8 months ago there were like 5+ really nice ones. That said, I highly encourage you to buy one.
