Hi all, Anyone have a spare, or know where to buy one of these ? Surprising hard to find? Or ridiculously expensive. TIA.
-
I paid the full amount, swapped wheels, (well Hell BM did), sent my old wheel back and got the core refund.

Try this guy. I am very happy with mine. http://cobywheel.com/

What brand / model are these?

OK, so pretty bad, ~$2k more per year for me than an e46 m3. 40 =bucks more per week to have an insane v10. Hmmm, stop buying coffee and you are 'even Steven'. They seem amazing value if you get a warranty and can stomach the gas...

Sick m5. Looks way better without the plasti-dip. (You could try the silver plasti-dip as a cheap fix in the interim?) Never driven this SMG, but the e46 version is way better once you get used to it. There must be some kind of 'computer' mod for the m5? The e46 upgrade is a... 'game changer.' I have to ask, how bad is the consumption? How many kms do you get to a tank?

Hi, I have an issue with my wipers 'juddering'. I am using the Bosch 'evo' flat blades and the drivers side seems to 'pop out' of the clip piece in the arm. #9 below. It's a 'new' issue, and the clip doesn't look broken. I put the wiper 'back in' but after a half dry wipe it is enough resistance to pull the blade out, and then you get judder again. Any help/suggestions? (Rather not go back to the old style wiper as these used to work fine?)

18km - about 40min on peak. I actually like a ~30min commute - good for podcasts.

I can't pick up AM at all, FM is OK. [bought the car with tints]

Autosure is the best IMO. You can buy them privately through a broker. Have a look on their site; I purchased one through Bluefin finance (or something similar). Actually cheaper than buying through the dealer.

What are your biggest pleasures of owning a BMW?

+1 for the over-run clip please. Very keen on this, will speak to Ray... Cheers.

Could you drive it though? Assuming prices are the same in 4 years, and you drove it daily, you would lose almost half it's value, (plus maintenance).

Don't listen to these guys, you wanna be a baller or not?

Tire Rack won't ship Pirelli to NZ so your options may be limited.
-
I would not buy RFTs to replace. I haven't driven the Pirelli's but at least they sound better that the Potenza. The Potenza perform pretty well, but the wear rating is very low and the ride is so hard/harsh. You can get way better tyres that will last longer, perform better and ride nicer, for cheaper than RFT.

How many Kms on that? Were you having symptoms? How does it feel now?

The wheels modernise it so much, looks really good!
