  1. I'm a fan of this new 'flat' grey. Doesn't suit the M3 as much as the Audi's, but it is cool. I think it will age poorly though. (Remember when matte black was 'cool'? That didn't last long).

    WTB: E46 M3

M3 is a far better investment than any cyrpto I've bought ! ?
  3. It's illegal still. I've been with people doing it in an e30, an e36 and an e46. Never done it on the car, you'd probably fall off and hurt yourself. E63 has quite a long hood though, so it might be the safest one not to fall off of.

Have you seen what e46s are selling for in the States? Low kms blues one NZ$75k. Comp pack $50k+ Hodl, we're going to the moon baby!
  5. If f80 can fit into e90, and e90 can fit e46, then f80 fit e46?

Based on this, there is probably only 50 6 speed ones in NZ. So there is probably only a handful under 100km now. You'll just have to wait a bit, they do come up, but there are a lot of 'lifers'.
  7. It's not the kind of car I would personally import. There are too many things you'd want an e46 'expert' to check out. The local market really ebs & flows. There are none on TM now, but ~8 months ago there were like 5+ really nice ones. That said, I highly encourage you to buy one.

  9. If I were you OP - I'd go for an M2.
  10. Did your radio (specifically AM) reception improve without the tints?
  11. Will this be your daily? Congrats.
  12. If you want a brand new OEM one, they appear to be available from next year.
  13. Confirmed: 135i less reliable than vintage military tanks.
  14. When it averages 4000km a year probably.
  15. But seriously do you have an aftermarket warranty, because if you don't i would buy one today if I were you.
  16. You need to have it enabled. Talk to HellBM. Being November 02, I'd put money on you having MK60, but you'd need to check.
  17. It's a less intrusive traction control mode that allows some slip. It came with the ZHP and CSL cars. HellBM installed it in my car and I use it everyday. (The standard DSC is pretty invasive especially say in the wet when pulling out of an intersection - it can be quite dangerous as it really cuts power).
  18. ^ not a face lift update, but late 2002 got the MK60 DME. Which allows for Mtrack mode. I wouldn't buy one without that. SMG says N instead of 0.
  19. Time will tell. But if you benchmark the 330i as the previous 'best non M' then it's likely they'll follow a similar curve IMO.
  20. Switch now. You'll continue to lose on depreciation on the 335i.

I've seen heavily worn alcantara wheels, but I've had mine for 2-3 years and it's still mint. (I am careful though to have clean hands though). You seem to have flirted with going back to OEM/stock, and then swung back full street racer?

The Storm one is a beast. The weight is crazy. I'm staying OEM, so waiting for a new ZHP to arrive...
