I'm a nerd, and I love my iPad. I hardly ever use my laptop anymore. I was sceptical initially, but a desktop browser feels so antiquated after using apps like twitter, ebay, AlienBlue (reddit). You can't beat it for couch based 'instant on' content consumption. (Also remote for airplay music and mirroring is great). I'm no apple fanboy (Android and WP7 phone user) but iPad is fantastic.

All porn is HTML 5 now though? Skyfire is decent. Swifter works also, but they are both 'average' solutions to use only when desperate. I couldnt get frash to work.

Has it got much worse over the years? It was my number one issue with the car.

I see this car every week. The wheels are sick. I was shocked to see it's supercharged! It sounds stock and I have never seen him boost it.

My view is that I know someone who got one, NZ new, full spec for $10k. It had done 130k. Maybe that was a good deal, but $3k 'insurance' against maintenance isn;t much and you will really struggle to sell it when its done 300k. So the extra you pay now for a lower km one, you will probably get back in resale. That being said my car has 210k on it and my e30 had 320k.

The relvant question is how much is it?

The diesel stories are making me want to hypermile! That's some crazy stats. Is there a 'milage' thread? Some one start one. I was getting 450km per tank 7.5l/km, better with VANOS fix. What about a Toyota Crown? You could get some diplomatic flags for it.

Huawei has some decent phones. Some of them are a joke though, but there is a new one coming that I would use. And the old 'high end' model is OK. Try Flixel if you are on iOS - it's awesome. Don't is my advice. My brother had one - and I know someone with one now. The problem is they cost too much to fix. You have to take the whole front end off to do things like the clutch. I know someone whose turbo is dead too. They seem to have all the costs and reliability associated with a 'performance car' but with only mild performance. I know they are tempting though, they look good and are cheap...

What a tastefully modified european vehicle. This is a steal for $30k as the work would have cost at least this. Plus the individual nature of the car really makes it priceless. I wish more people had the talent and flair to modify their BMW like this. I say well done, well done indeed.

Stock rims are 19" op car and rims are epic. you should definitely buy it.

Reporting in with successful single VANOS 'fix' from Hell BM here. All the symptoms of bung VANOS are gone.
