Ask the seller to confirm how they've confirmed it's a "Competition Package" - if they can't provide proof then they can't claim it is in the auction. So, either they have proof or they're misrepresenting and would have to alter the auction and probably their asking price.

They may be brash but they're quite good ideas for addressing growth which is the problem here. I'm sure there are others. We don't have the infrastructure in Auckland to support current population levels and we can't build enough infrastructure to catch up with demand let alone surpass it. Ever. Auckland doesn't have a housing crisis, it has a population crisis and more houses aren't going to fix Auckland's problems they're going to exacerbate it. If you don't like my ideas then proffer some viable alternatives that are economically viable? It's easy to be a critic.

Oil and filter and I added a magnetic sump plug, let's see what that will do. Did a full flush with 2l of clean oil and lifted the car from side to side. In the end only gold was coming out. Took a few hours but happy. Not happy about not being able to take my wheels off or being unable to undo my tie-rods!

Argh. Shops that do your wheel bolts up with an air gun! My electric impact gun won't loosen them and I broke a 3/8" 2.5" extension trying with a lever. 80Nm for wheel nuts, not 300!!! Can't get my wheels off until Tuesday now. :-/

Glad to hear there are no chips, I was just basing my assessment on your grumpy answers/comments in the TM auction and here in this thread. Doesn't come across very well. To be honest I think you underestimate the knowledge of the audience here and to be fair your (ex) car has an unknown service history so you should have expected scepticism about a price no other similar car has come close to in the last few years. My drivetrain, bushes, clutch, VANOS, suspension, brakes, etc, etc have all been rebuilt or replaced and I'd still not expect to get for mine what you were asking for yours. I am genuinely glad you found the right buyer. I hope it lives up to their expectations. No hard feelings.

I'm trying to remove my outer tierods but the ball joint shaft just spins with the nut. They're only about 6 months old so I want to preserve them. There doesn't seem to be a visible surface on the shaft for me to grip with anything (it's all well protected behind the rubber). Is there a tip or trick to stop the shaft spinning?
