  1. Crazy amount of RC action at the moment.
  2. Nice, cheers - explains why Kyu was drooling too!
  3. I was wondering if they were standard fit for anything. If not I was going to ask Kyu what made that offset droolworthy. GLWS - I love the rims.
  4. But what will they fit (properly) with that offset? ET38 is "correct" for an E36 for example, so miles away.
  5. That looks like the clear coat is failing, only fix is to strip and refinish the rim I'm afraid.
  6. And finally... after much delay and procrastination my wheels are done and I'm very happy with the result. I still need new centre cap inserts but they've been ordered from Germany and should be here in the next few weeks. There are no silver inserts available any more so I need to make some more decisions when my black ones arrive. This is a subtle shadow chrome, slightly less shadow and slightly more chrome than the OEM e39 M5 wheels. My photography skills don't really do them justice.
  7. Looks like quality work, nice one.
  8. But seriously. Any business that can't answer their phone hardly deserves new customers right?
  9. Looks like a sweet car actually, welcome Liam Stephen (?). You'll find lots of e39 love around here, it's a bit of a BMW icon. Needs a slight drop but that's easy. Check out our regular Auckland meet too... all welcome, especially new member cars.
  10. Cheers and will do shortly. I need some good light and I'd prefer to have the new centre cap inserts before I lifted my skirt but they may be a few weeks away. More photos this weekend.

    M TOY M3

That wrap material looks quite good, most don't. What's "5d carbon"? Just a brand thing or does it mean something?
  12. You should be good if you start here: http://www.beisansystems.com/ Read up on the procedure before you buy anything. I'm not sure about the "jammed" code... is that a loose translation from something else? If a solenoid isn't working properly you'll need to do more than the seals.
  13. ^ how on earth are you going to sit on that?

    MissBM V.2

You were a little coy there Miss Amber. But I've come to expect that.
  15. www.germanplates.com Just make yourself aware of the implications please. They're a bit like smoking weed, not legit but hardly a 'real' crime. Much cheaper than smoking weed but...
  16. FWIW I run the Bilstein/Eibach B12 setup with Eibach swaybars on my E36 and love it. Factory compliance with even more stability and a lowered ride height. Perfect for me because I was never going to learn/test enough to extract value from an adjustable setup.
  17. Nice. And where did you get the BBS hardware?
  18. I've not tried it (yet) but many M3 owners use and prefer the Z3 rack, in fact it's difficult to find any negative feedback from those that do use it. What's your view on that considering your comments on caster?
  19. Might pay to remove the rear bumper to check. Should be able to see the mounting points (if they exist) and the inside of the bumper probably has template marks for OEM mounts if drilling or cutting is required.
  20. No, it won't run at WOT for that long at all. If the batteries don't drain they'll go into thermo shutdown. Fine for casual track days, nothing more really.
  21. ^ because about 6 laps.
