    1989 316i E30

Is that in it's current state, or with the tank and radiator fixed?
  2. Sweet, sounds good. Can you please PM your account details. Cheers
  3. I'm keen. I couldn't check Simon's link as TradeMe is blocked at work. Will it pick up both digital and analogue?
  4. I think I remember one or two people on this site mentioning either owning a screen printing business or working for one. I'm off on a boy's trip next weekend (11 July), and we are wanting to get some t-shirts printed. I know time frames are tight, but can anyone help? The would be pretty generic and we would be happy with just one or two colours. There is no personalisation on each t-shirt. We are after 14 and sizes would be split M, L and XL. Please let me know if you can help, and the total cost of the job. Thanks in advance!
  5. Have a relative in hospital who would love to watch some TV. He has a near new HP laptop with all the bells and whistles, so was thinking of investing in a USB TV tuner. I understand they allow you watch Freeview HD. Has anyone had experience with these? What brand would you recommend? Is reception generally good or can it be patchy? Was thinking of going for this one. d*ck Smith has nothing under $150 and the cheapest at Noels is $120. Thanks in advance
  6. Is it still on the Hawkes Bay Police local "watch list" for alleged suspicious behaviour outside various girls schools? BTW - someone needs to tell the clown selling the car how to spell few!
  7. Nice. At first I wondered why the owner decided to do it (i.e. why not just buy a MB C32 Estate or RS4 Avant) but he seemed to have the completed car owing him the right money. Shame he decided to go SMG though...

    SAPPCO order

Tried to do a companies search for you, but there are none registered with the name "sappco". Information from a freeparking.co.nz "whois" shows who the www.sappco.co.nz domain name is registered too. Maybe Ollie or whoever else got products from them might be able to tell you where they are located!
  9. Spotted this whilst procrastinating at work -> the deal website Cheap official merchandise. If you are tempted to buy one of the models, I highly recommend them. I have the Warhol M1 and it is awesome - amazing quality and attention to detail.

    F1's at Te Papa?

Oooh I am excited now. Hopefully something red! Will definately make the trip down to Wellington.

    F1's at Te Papa?

Spotted this link as an ad on the Herald website and got very excited. But, does anyone know more detailed information - i.e. are they actually displaying any F1 car(s)? If so, it would be sooo badass! Link
  12. As you guys say, each to their own... BUT, I do think these will be worth something one day. The W124 S-Class was the ultimate incarnation of the teutonic german limo - everything is so well built it feels like it has been etched out of stone, they are as reliable as anything (these, along with Toyota Landcrusiers are desert gansters' weapons of choice), look imposing and Mercedes will never build anything like it again (everything is now too computerised and disposable). The 560 was the top-of-the-line model and I doubt you would be able to find a tidier or lower mileage example. Porsche 993's are now worth more than your average 996 for this very reason - they were the pinnacle of what 911's represented - highly stung air cooled rear drive weapons with sublime handling. I guess you could say the same about an E30 - no 3 series since represents such a rewarding driving experience and simplicity, not to mention a timeless shape. I will be heart broken if the 560 sells for less than $10k! If only I "needed" such a car...
  13. Not a BMW but this looks like an absolute minter! TradeMe Link Built in the days when Mercedes engineered and built a car, then put an asking price on it - unlike nowadays where everything is built to the accountants specification! Martyyn - still looking for another car?
  14. They don't come up for sale as there is no such thing as an E39 535D.

    FS: Alpine M325i

What are you looking at getting into next? Making the step up to an E36?
  16. Nice car, but the same thing in grey (albeit with a flappy paddle trans) went through Turners last weekend. From memory it didn't sell but the highest bid was about $140k.
  17. M325is' experience sounds like the norm here in NZ! I don't want to open a can of worms, but the cops are too busy writing out speeding tickets to bother attending burglaries. I was told they were unable to attend when my flat was broken into and the same when my brothers car was broken into.

    Internet plans

100gig a month!?!? Can't get enough of the HD porn?
  19. Anyone here with Woosh? I use them and everything is TERRIBLE - internet is slow, phone calls keep getting dropped and the help desk is the epitome of useless! What is the best value, but reliable, home phone and internet package? I only need one or two gigs a month.
  20. Was looking on TM last night an spotted a real gem. It was a mint '92 NZ New E30 f/l 325i cab in hell red with black leather. It only had 2 owners from new and FSH. TradeMe is blocked at work, so I can't post a link. Sent the seller an email last night to arrange viewing, but he replied telling me it had sold! Auction start price was $8k (which is getting up there). Did anyone else see this? And does anyone know of any other NZ new E30 f/l cabs for sale? (Yes, I know they are as rare as rocking horse sh*t...)

    Love The Beast

I'm 24 and since I have been driving have owned 21 cars... Including 4x E30's, 1 x E34 and 2 x E36's... The longest was a mint 1 owner NZ new '89 318i manual in dolphin grey - I bought it when I was 16 and owned it for just over 1 year.
  22. This is real ROFLMAO material! Mazda MX5 Aston Martin Vanquish
  23. Sounds like you have settled on a Mini, but if you are looking at buying a new Swift, you MUST look at the new Ford KA and Mazda 2. Both are fantastic cars and move the game on considerable from the Swift.

    E60 M5

Is it your car, or are you listing it on behalf of someone else? If it is yours, why would you sell such a beast so quickly! Highish kms, but NZ new. Would be interested to see what it is worth!
  25. Nice one Mark. You are right. Don't worry, the car isn't for me. One of the Mrs friends is looking at one and asked me to take it for a drive with her.
